Perfect Replacement
Both spring and cord broke on my Powermate generator, this was a perfect replacement. Metal housing just like the original, not plastic like some other venders offer. Also, the pull cord is nylon, a great improvement over the original cord. Take three screws out, swap parts, screw back on, fixed in 3 minutes.

Works Perfectly
I was impressed with the low price (I had expected to spend upwards of $50), the speed of delivery considering the spate of foul weather we were hit with (which is why the dratted thing broke in the first place) and how well it worked. It bolted right on and the generator started on the first pull.
