Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Smoothing Anti-Frizz Dry Oil Mist, 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

This is an excellent dry oil for very long, fine, thick hair. I use it to de tangle my hair, the hair at the nape of my neck frequently tangles and forms mats that can not be brushed out easily. This spray provides the necessary lubricant to remove tangles without weighing my hair down or looking greasy. The scent is pleasant, not over powering.

With summer humidity on the way (hello frizzy hair) - I was excited to try this product to see if I can add it to my arsenal. Have used it daily for a little over a week. Really enjoy the light scent and the immediate softness the product gives my hair. I think a little goes a long way and I was impressed with how quickly it blends into my hair. I like the spray pump so I do not have to get my hands messy. I've noted I can also use it in my kids' hair as a dangler for easier brushing.

I have naturally curly hair, roots get oily & ends get dry, humidity makes me extra curly and frizzy.So I have used this product in multiple circumstances:-My hair looked decent the 2nd day and I tested it first thing in the morning and it helped smooth out the frizz and I reformed the couple curls that were frizzy. Normal work day (middle school art) and it held up OK, a bit more frizzy by the end of the day then normal but not bad.-Camping & kayaking...this did not hold up well. I did a spritz to rejuvenate the curls and smooth frizz, put in a pony tail. But the frizz looked like a crazy halo and I tried to re-spritz but it did not work.-Had a dinner event and just needed to refresh my hair. It looked shiny, health and smooth.

This is a very nice anti-frizz spray. I sprayed a little on before I dried it, and a light spray after I finished styling. It made my hair so super soft! I have some little crazy hairs that don’t want to lay down- but the dry oil worked to kind of smooth them down. The smell is very light. Seems kind of sweet and a little floral. My hair looks soft and shiny. Also, I have pretty thin hair, but it didn’t weigh it down or make it look greasy- just don’t spray too much!!!

I purchased this along with the shampoo and conditioner and I am happy with them. But this pump bottle has never worked. I have to open the bottle and pour it into my hand which ends up with too much product in my hair. The product itself is ok but for the price, you should be able to use it the way it’s intended.

Smells amazing but that's not why i bought it.I got an sample from Sephora and boy, i could not believe it, first Spray ever that keeps my hair from frizzing and curling so thank god for this.I apply it on my wet hair and dry them with the hair blower before i use my hair straightener and my hair will stay straight for easy....4 days.

Just like many reviews…the pump doesn’t work. Obviously a manufacturing defect. I loved the actual product…..worked wonder with my frizz while not weighing my very fine hair down.I’m disappointed that Alterna hasn’t reached out on their own to all buyers with a replacement pump. Small price to pay to keep customers of high priced product satisfied.

If your hair is dry, you will have to use a good amount. It’s expensive, but I love the smell and the feel of this product.

Just the same as the smoothing serum although can make hair look a little greasy I initially.
