The battery arrived DEAD but it has a 1 yr guarantee I wasn't aware of.
We received this battery yesterday and my husband tried it but it was dead. He called the company for the item we have that this battery fits and he explained what was going on. They told him yes it is DEAD. I didn't realize the seller has a 1 yr warranty. I was very pleased to find this out. I contacted Amazon and they immediately put through an order for a replacement battery and we printed out a mailing label so it didn't cost us anything to return the dead battery we received. Now I am just waiting for the new battery to arrive but I don't expect any problems. .

GREAT replacement battery!!
I should have gotten this years ago when my original Dyson battery started dying. This new battery has longer run time, seems to power the vacuum better (stronger?) and has extended the life of a great little handheld vac. If you're on the fence, trust me, this is a great upgrade to your original battery. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Huge improvement - tight fit in charger!
Overall a HUGE improvement! Much higher power than OEM with better suction when using attachments and extensions. Unsure how the motor on the vacuum will hold us considering the added wear/tear with improved speed but for now it's perfect improvement with this added battery.

Brought my DC16 back to life.
Battery pack is great. Plugged it into my DC16 and started vacuuming. Made the vacuum sound strong and powerful. Its the same size as original. Capacity is actually 3500mA. I did have an issue with the DC16 vacuum turning off after a few seconds. I used a neodymium magnet to fix that issue but the original battery was weak. My DC16 now runs better then new.

Dependable battery
This is the second battery we’ve ordered. It lasts several years, and we use the vacuum a lot. Very pleased with these batteries.

Stuck in Vacuum and will not come out
Runs fine but the problem is its manufactured wrong and will not come out of vacuum without taking a hammer or dermal and destroy it to ever get it back out. Original battery popped right in and out without issues
