Ezyglide Tape - Stops Curtain Rings catching on Drapery rods 3.0 Meters (10 feet)

This tape is amazing. My drapes slide so easily. Prior to the tape I would need to fix the drapery pins 2or3times a week. Thank you ezglide!!

I've had this tape for a long time & I finally recently installed it onto my living room curtain rod. The rod is 96" long all together (in 3 separate pieces) so it had 2 different areas where the 1 inner rod met the 2 outer rods, and both of those areas caused the hooks on the curtains to get stuck every time I tried to open or close them. It used to drive me crazy... to the point that, somedays, I wouldn't even bother to open them since I didn't feel like dealing with this problem twice that day. For some reason, I guess I really didn't expect this tape to work so, after I ordered it, I ended up putting it aside initially and then forgot that I even had it. I recently came across it in my closet and installed it. It works great!!! It was very easy to put up and I can't believe how smoothly the curtain rings slide now every time I open or close the curtains. I'm just sorry I waited so long to install it. I caused myself a lot of trouble that I didn't need to be dealing with all that time. If you've got this problem with your curtains, don't hesitate to try this tape. I think you will be pleased with the outcome.

Not enough STARS to rate this amazing product!!! It only took a few minutes to apply and WOW!!! It worked BEAUTIFULLY ♥️.I struggled everyday trying to open my long, wide, heavy curtains on my patio/porch sliding door triple windows!! It was horrible to try to jerk the curtains over the extendable curtain rods. I tried taping the troublesome area with tape but it still got snagged.This tape is a lifesaver! At least for my sanity it is!!

I was smitten by how the reviews sung the praises of the product! It seemed to be the answer to our persistent struggle with the curtains, which of course open & close twice a day. I'm not refuting them - it glides like buttah.I want to call out to measure how much you need exactly - because I didn't and now I have to purchase the entire thing again. This is kind of a pain because the order is shipped from England and has a long lead time.I have 2, 72" rods, the width of the french doors in my living room. The joint between the rods (where I'm trying to get away with no support bar) really needed this glide tape. I thought I could get away with 2x5' lengths by cutting it in half. NO GO. This tape is actually about 1/4" thick, and the curtain rings get caught up where the tape doesn't appear. I misunderstood the nature of this tape, I thought it was thin and slippery, instead of a thick padding of adhesive plus a plastic runner.Now I will be purchasing 2 new rolls to cover the full 12' combined length. This is a case where you need to over buy instead of getting by with slightly less.

This tape was easy to install and works great. We had enough to do two windows that have curtains hung on rings. now the curtains/rings slide "like buttah" - easy and quiet!!! The only slight drawback is that $9.99 plus tax and delivery ended up being $15.50 all in, which seems a little much for only two windows worth of tape. in hindsight, I wish we had ordered more rolls.In addition to this tape, we got pleat hooks (to do pinch pleats), rings, and drapery wands (aka drapery pull rods) (so as to not have to tug on the curtains themselves to open and close) - all from Amazon. All in, we probably spent more on these items than we spent on the curtains themselves (from Ikea)! but they make the curtains look pretty nice.

I wasn't paying attention when I ordered this because I didn't realize it wasn't a 'Prime' item and had a fee for shipping. Even without the shipping, you don't get enough to really do much and it's pricey. I paid almost $16 for the roll (including shipping) and it only did my shower curtain. There's only enough left to do one other short rod. Although the shower curtain is a little quieter, which was my goal, it still makes noise when I open and close it and the tape sticks up on top of the rod because it's very thick. Would not buy again.

This makes opening and closing curtains a breeze, especially with a telescopic curtain rod. East to install. Very thick and perfect slippery-mess for ring- hooks. Purchased for all curtains in my home.

We recently bought new curtains at Pottery Barn. We went with the 1.25” rod and big, heavy rings. We basically couldn’t close the curtains without lifting each individual ring over the bump at the expansion juncture. The salesperson told us about her “hack” to prevent the rings from sticking on the rod expansion juncture - which involved cutting up a measuring tape, painting it black and then adhering it to the top of the curtain rod. That seemed like a lot of work for a hack! Two seconds of searching lead me to Ezyglide.The product is extremely easy to install, even if you’re like me and were too lazy to take the curtains down before installing! The biggest challenge in the whole installation process was finding the edge to pull the backing off the adhesive (let your finger nails grow a little bit before installing!).It works perfectly. The rings now glide almost silently over the full length of the curtain rod. At first, we were almost wishing there was a little more resistance from the tape because we would yank the curtains closed and the momentum would pull the edges to the middle! We quickly realized we could easily close the curtains with the slightest of effort.I’m confused by some of the bad reviews on here. I even bought an extra roll because one review said you’d probably need to lay two strips side by side for larger curtain rods. We used one strip and it works perfectly.
