I bought the large garlic press, I believe there are two sizes. Once opened the package and held the press I was impressed. It has weight to it and I know it’s durable. Quality of material it’s made of is awesome. It presses garlic perfect. I advise to cut the clove in half or four pieces, it helps in pressing the garlic uniformly. Zulay has made a quality product, I highly recommend this press to all the cooking enthusiasts out there, thanks.

Nice little garlic press. A little small for the larger pieces of garlic but it works fine. Smaller so it fits into the utensil drawer perfectly.

My first press was Zyliss and I had for YEARS. I gave it away for free for an OXO garlic press I tried and loved while staying at an AirBNB on vacation. One handle of the OXO press busted off within a few months. Outside of the return window of course.So I did some research and bought the Zulay. It worked for a few months, then the metal cavity to house the garlic decided to stretch into an oval while the press itself is still a circle. The circle side no longer even fits in the oval. I can't press anything with this only months later. My last dinner when I was desperate for fresh garlic, I tried to make the oval back into a circle to no avail. You can see in the photo.One might think I am pressing pebbles in these janky presses, but I am not. I'm putting Costco brand garlic in these.The best part of the Zulay purchase was the little rubber tube that strips the garlic shell off pretty effectively.This was one time I wished I hadn't purged the old when the new one came in and that I had kept my Zyliss. It never let me down.Off to find a new press, I guess. Store-bought minced garlic is icky and there are dinners to make.Update: March 15, 2025 - the company reached out to me after seeing my review and did their best to make it right. By this time I had already bought another press, but Zulay really handled well. Thank you, Zulay.I will increase my stars up from 1 to 3 based on their stellar customer service.
