5 star valves, 1 star for the price rip off!
£76.81! I bought these a year ago and they were 23.99! from the same listing! Even then they are cheaper elsewhere. Google search GE5654W. The most you want to pay for a mayched pair is £10. Rip off!As for the tubes, can't fault um. Nice subtle warm tones. Nice. Siemens 6AK5W are also a good option too, especially if you want a warmer tone again. Still subtle though.

Excellent improvement
I bought these to "upgrade" a Nobsound Little Bear T7 (another thing to consider buying!) and I would say that there is a definite difference. The sound is "brighter" than the standard valves.Worth the price I would say.

Quick, simple upgrade to Quality Audio
I have several of these 2 tube preamp/headphone amp devices. One had 6j1 tubes and the other 6j3 tubes. The 6j1 tubes are garbage and should be thrown out. The 6j3 tubes are better but neither is as good as these GE 5654W matched set audio tubes. in my opinion. The quality of the sound reproduction improved immediately with the installation of these tubes.

Wonderful sound
I bought this for my first budget preamp as a replacement because it was recommended to change the Chinese tubes it comes with. This sounds absolutely wonderful.

Marked Improvement
Arrived today in perfect condition,really well packaged.Im using them in my Little Bear T7 preamp and immediately noticed a marked improvement.Sound is crisper and much warmer.
