This doesn’t smell like going to the arbor liquor store. This also pairs well with my Truefit and Hill cologne.

Best lather and scent. Lasts a long time. Quality of soap doesn’t diminish as soap is used up.

I ordered this because T & H products have always been top notch. This was no different---I wanted a sandalwood luxury soap for the bathroom sink that left a scent on your hands after washing them. This is perfect and I found another plus that I was not expecting---the soap also provides a mild sandalwood scent in the air which is also to my liking. I love the smell of sandalwood and this does a great job. I also use T&H shaving creams---they are also great. I recommend their products highly.

I must admit I am "fogeyish" in my choice of bath products (Caswell Massey Number Six has always been my preferred soap fragrance). Trafalgar does not disappoint. It has a notes of musk, spice and citrus (among others) but is not overly scented. Lather is rich and washes away cleanly.

I bought this after a good deal of internet research, looking for some of the finest shaving soap in the world. The brand is steeped in history and tradition, and after learning that many members of England's Royal Family use Truefitt and Hill products, I had to try for myself. The packaging is beautiful and elegant. The stamp on the soap is so regal it makes you not want to use it so as to preserve the appearance. The fragrance is gorgeous. As far as actual performance though, sadly, I am disappointed. The quality of the soap is far less than I would expect from all the pomp and pageantry about tradition and stately packaging. You can work up a rich, foamy lather, apply it to your face, and by the time you get done with one side, the lather on the other has diminished to the point where you can see your skin again. The glide of the razor with this soap is okay, if you go with the grain of your facial hair, you can get a perfectly adequate shave. If you like the smooth-as-a-baby's-arse kind of close shave, though, you have to go against the grain, and if you do that with this soap, you will cut the Bejesus out of yourself. If you want beauty and opulence, you might just love this soap. If you want actual performance, you might just be disappointed. Thus far, the best soap I've found since Queen Charlotte quit the shaving soap business is made by Cold River Soap Works.

I love this soap. One bar lasts quite a while and keeps it's scent until the last use. I also use the Grafton Cologne and Grafton Aftershave. I get a lot of compliments on how good I smell. Highly recommended.

Jabón de muy buena calidad y de una marca que ya conocía por sus cremas de afeitar. muy buen perfume, aunque demasiado tenue. Yo lo compré con oferta. 28 euros por tres jabones me parece excesivo......pero eso lo valora cada cual.Buena presentación, por si quieres hacer un regalo.

Eine wirklich hervorragende Seife, die ihren Preis wert ist. Der Duft ist sehr intensiv, aber nicht künstlich. Die Qualität ist hervorragend!Ich werde diese Seife wieder kaufen.
