Love my Charter hat so much I bought a second in a different shade. My old one will be for yard work and hiking. The new one will become my travel hat. The Charter hat brim holds up better in stiff breezes, like beach walks, than the Tilley my wife uses, but those are really nice hats too. The light weight, airflow, and coverage seemed better than the other brands I tried on. Also love the sunglass sleeves - much more useful than you might think.

Product summary: 10/10 would recommend.I absolutely LOVE this hat! You are able to get it completely adjusted for your head and with the included chin strap, it simply won't get out of place. It breathes quite well and time will tell if the material lives up to the claims of the company. Right now I feel it is a fantastic value and you should add it to cart.

I've had this hat for about 6 weeks now, and was hoping that the brim would settle into a reasonable shape after constantly adjusting it. But the material is so flimsy that it just doesn't hold its shape. That is, it's always a bit "wonky". If you're fine with that, then this is a great & affordable way to keep the sun off your head.

I like how this hat fits, the weight and the look. It is a great packable sun hat. You can even lock your sunglasses into the top of it. It's a great buy and an even better hat.

Let's face it; hats don't really help keep your head cool. Any layer of cloth, even mesh on your head will feel a bit warmer. This Charter hat more than compensates by shading your face and neck. I bought it for pickleball and I should have done it a long time ago. The comfort difference is incredible compared to the visor I was wearing. The visor only shaded my eyes and nothing else. The Sunday Afternoons hat reduces the direct sunlight enough that I don't always need sunglasses on the court. It's lightweight and washes easily by hand. The shape of the brim is flattering unlike those floppy hats that make you look like Gilligan. The sizing is spot on and slightly adjustable. And the chin strap is secure and stowable. To make it even sweeter, it is much less expensive than other name brands. My only minor gripe is that the mesh vents on top are obscured by thin fabric in the inside, I assume for achieving the SPF50 sun rating. If that were stitched only on one edge, it could be flipped down inside the hat opening up the mesh for better air flow. Other than that, it's a winner.

My husband loves this hat enough that he asked for a 2nd one just like it - one for everyday and one for "good". It keeps the sun off his head and provides shade. Well made and holds up to wind well.

Living in the Tropics I wear a hat for sun (and some rain) protection. Finding protection and ventilation is a challenge. 3rd concern is style. This sunday's hat is perfect! Very light weight, great coverage, adjustable inside size band, comfortable sweatband, ( Inside hidden crown pocket), Comfortable adjustable chin strap, and wide floating foam core brim. Even the sunglass keeper works flawlessly. packs flat. I think it's very fashionable and the fact easy clean and Galaxy.Well, it's a bit more expensive.Even twice as much as the less expensive ADS.This is going to far out last 7.Is much more comfortable.I know because I have several of the others. I actually went ahead and bought this one because I was so disappointed with some of the others I'd received. I Give a super strong recommendation of this one. ( Full disclosure. I have another compass model. Happened from Sundays that I've had for 5 years at least and it works great, this is just a bit narrower brim and more stylish. And not quite as large as brim. But it's super super comfortable with even better ventilation)
