Q: does work in a 2021 silverado 1500?

2021 Silverado custom crew. The issue is the metal guide plate INSIDE socket causes FIT ISSUES. In other words, the LED bulb is a "HAIR" too big or thick so LAS FIT TECH GUY told me to use plastic or nylon flat head tool to OPEN up or enlarge inside socket (JUST A HAIR) to allow LED to sit properly in bulb socket. Makes perfect sense just haven't tried yet. I just ordered plastic flat head and will try it. The issue I HAVE is that this particular model is advertised as PLUG AND PLAY and for the exact CUSTOM TRIM on 21 Silverado. Well if we have to MODIFY socket (even if it's easy) it is NOT PLUG AND PLAY and it doesn't plug in and fit at face value. Hope this helps someone. Take care

Q: 2020 Traverse with no miles. The reverse camera stays on even when i turn on and off. Does anyone know why do i need a resistor?

I had the same issue with my 2019 GMC Terrain - the camera and backup LEDs would stay on always. I found that if I left one of the original backup bulbs in and replace the other with an LED, the camera worked as usual. That confirmed for me that a resistor would fix the issue. I wired in only one resistor and replaced both original bulbs with LEDs and everything is working fine.
