I have an Oceanic 200 gal. aquarium. As such, the glass is quite thick. Even so, the magnets hold the pump securely in place. The flow is more than adequate. The cord could be longer. The depth of my aquarium is 24 inches. My electrical outlet is on the floor. I have to use an extension cord for the pump to reach all areas of my aquarium.

It's powerful and quiet. You will hear it but it's less than a side filter or bubbler. Moves some water ! I got 2 but 1 does the job. Guess i got backup for when this dies. Doesn't suck fish in!

Has decent power for a 37 gallon tall heavily planted tank while properly functioning. Worked well for 32 days then one of the propellers stopped working. It’s now at half power running on one of two propellers which is very weak. EDIT: I took the thing apart and cleaned it out and was able to to get it fully operational. This has happened a few times now over several months but all in all it works pretty well. Would recommend

Have had this wavemaker for 4 years now and still works as new. Only thing I’d wish for it to be is DC. Really like toUse timers on it but it may not always propel water when turned on and off. It will sometimes pull water in. Other than that excellent product.!

Made a little clicking noise at first and the right motor wouldn’t work, but a couple of shakes and it works perfect.

For what it’s worth it worked very well for two days….then quit! I didn’t even perform a water change/drain so there was no way I left it plugged in while it wasn’t submerged which I have done before in the past but even still the last hyger one I had for 3 years I did actually forget to unplug a time or two and the pump still worked up into it took a random poop, but yeah this one didn’t work after two days, I’m gettin a replacement now and maybe I just got a dud and hopefully I can revoke this review in the next few days but kinda skeptical at the moment

I ordered this pump and a different brand at the same time. The other is being returned. This one has a really strong magnet and stays where you put it. Strong flow.

It arrived on time and I installed on my aquarium right the way. it worked so well, In fact my son came by and he loved how it work so I told at Amazon.com. He ordered for his fish tank few days ago. We sure love this wave maker!!
