This book is cute and well done. Simple and cute story and pictures. I bought it for my partner because she loves otters but also because the texts is perfect. I would say this would be great for a child too.

I was a bit hesitant to make this the first book for my great-grandson’s library because my interaction now is with my older grandchildren and of course that doesn’t include this type of book. Many in our family are avid readers and I believe that love of books starts as toddlers if not older infants. My great-grandson is almost 10 months old and he will pause and listen to the rhythmic flow of the words in this book. Not only that but as a reader to him, how can I not smile myself reading this book. And that is something he can sense in my demeanor. The writer has used “PURRRFECT” words to convey loving someone special “BEARY” much. I’m ordering a second book today. It’s so hard to decide which one. I plan to order one every couple of months. I honestly do not think you can start too early reading to a child. “Purrrfect” time to cuddle & relax. Oh, and the illustrations with happy colors are so soothing. The quality of the book was a surprise for the price. Very sturdy materials and there are no sharp, pointed edges, just smooth curved edges. Like I said this books needs 10 Stars.

Thus is a well made book that focuses on how special a child is. It builds self esteem in children.

Such an absolutely adorable story! My nine month old granddaughter couldn’t take her eyes off of every page and she kept grabbing for it constantly! She kept her interest in this book through the whole story!
