World's Greatest Socks!
I initially purchased these socks in October 2009. I've worn them every day over the past 4 years and they are still in the same shape as they day they arrived. They don't stretch out, they don't have wear marks on the heels or holes in the toe. They are absolutely worth the price. The reason I purchased 6 pairs last week was because my daughter accidentally left a cherry chapstick in the dryer so all of my white socks came out covered with pink spots. I couldn't get the stains out so had to buy all new socks. These really are the world's best socks. I will never waste another dime on any other brand. Please note that the Bermuda socks are mostly cotton--which is what I was looking for. Some of the other styles are mostly polyester. Check the descriptions before you order.I bought some of the Gold Toe socks for my hubby. He complained about the price and said they'd better last him for the rest of his life. Well guess what? I think he got what he wished for. lol He loves them too.Buy them, you will not be sorry. After reading some of the other reviews, I wanted to make it clear that the Bermuda cotton socks are indeed different from the other Gold Toe socks. The others are not 80% cotton and are a thinner weave and the elastic around the ankle is a tad too tight. I can only assume that some of the negative reviews above are in regard to the polyester socks--not the cotton ones.I received my latest Bermuda socks just recently and they are identical in quality to the ones I purchased in 2009. Again, please read the description carefully of the socks before you purchase.

Comfy socks, perfect thickness for gym shoes.
These Gold Toe socks are soft. They a good color to wear with jeans. They are a nice thickness, but they aren't bulky. I wear a size 81/2 shoe and purchased a med. size. They fit well, even after washing.

A company in business over 100 years!
My father liked to find GoldToe socks under the Christmas tree in the 1970's. These were high quality socks then, and that quality continues today. I was looking for a sock to wear cuffed over an ankle boot with leggings. These work very nicely. I am happy with this purchase. Fun fact - this company started in 1919!

Comfortable Gold Toe Socks
I bought a couple of pairs of the Gold Toe Bermuda Turn Cuff socks years ago and wanted to stock up on more to go with a new pair of sneakers. I was happy to find them in stock on Amazon and to discover that the quality and comfort haven't changed.

Love the socks, but they have drastically gone down in quality.
Gold Toe are deliberately cutting corners. They have lopped off a couple inches of height, as you can see in the picture, and made the fabric somewhat thinner. (Most recent order is on the left, and the right is a sock I purchased years ago.) I find it sad when companies start penny-pinching, and make crappier products — intentionality. I would rather spend an extra dollar, and have high-quality, long-lasting products. That said, I still like the socks, and wear them frequently. I am generally picky about socks, and like a solid medium-thickness, and a high cotton content, and these are that.At my local co-op, I recently bought a super quality, high-cotton-content black turn-cuff sock, with a brand name I can’t recall. If I can find out, I will edit my review and share with everyone! They are what gold toe used to be, and even better. They are phenomenal! ...That said, these Gold Toe are fine.Update: Maggie's Organic Cotton Crew Sock. <--------Found it!! I love these. Thicker, but not too thick. Beautiful, warm, combed cotton. I am slowly replacing many of my Gold Toes with these. Really wonderful brand.
