Not square. Strange depth for shelves. Very thick and sturdy though.
They are heavy and strong but not true square so I had to use a couple felt washers to get the shelves level. Also the area the wood sits is about 9.5” so 8” boards look too narrow and leave a big gap. But 10” boards need to be trimmed down. Overall I like the look but it needs improvements.

The value was awesome.
These were worked great. And the value was awesome. Just wish the inside of the bracket was a little bigger so it fit a standard 1x10 board. Lumber stores do not sell a 1x9 or 2x9 board. Not a huge deal, as I have a table saw and was able to remove 3/16 inch off the length of the board so it fit into the bracket.
