I work a lot of my truck and like to do little repairs on my own. I was scrambling through different sockets to find out I didn’t own the size I needed. I had my entire dash removed and thought how am I suppose to drive to the local hardware store to purchase the right socket. Then I remembered I purchased this item a few weeks back. Couldn’t have been happier to find out this thing knocked the job out and I was able to complete my job instead of picking up the needed socket and delaying my job. 1000% recommended.

when you are going to do something and not sure which tool to use. this little helper get the job done. does not work small nobs or tight places.

So I still can't get the bolt off my Huffy bike tire.

This is an excellent product and does the job really well. It is not a cheap quality socket and built with high quality material. Finding the right size of a socket and constantly switching between different sizes is a struggle when you have a habit of DIY. I decided to give it a try and I am pleasantly happy with the quality as well as the functionality of this universal socket.

I purchased this product to remove the screws and bolts in my sons crib as part of my task to convert his crib to a bed. I would highly recommend this product as the screws came out quick and easy and in no time at all! I will be using this tool to complete other DIY tasks around the house that I have been putting off!

It sucks

Received for unbiased review...Hefty feeling, and fairly sturdy so far. Unfortunately mine has one outer edge pin inside that does not fully spring back. I'm not sure why. It was this way when I received it. But because it is mostly in position and at the outer edge, I don't think it will cause any usage issues. I reduced a star because I found that the shaft is held in so tightly that I need to use a pair of pliers to pull it off again. It may improve with use over time. This is one of those tools that helps to prevent you from having to switch your bits repeatedly. For example: bicycle repair where every nut is a different size. Just be sure that your intended usage allows for fitting a larger diameter socket driver in the space where your nut or bolt is positioned. If you are intending on using this to really crank a bolt, I suggest using a dedicated socket. These are not meant for over tightening, or removing rusted on bolts. I haven't tried this scenario, but I'd rather not break my tools.

This DIY Universal Super Socket Wrench is a great, nifty tool for any home DIY person. This honeycomb-shaped tool essentially replaces the most common type screw fittings and bolts, including hex, hex, nut, cap, eye, and hook. Sizewise, it's equally universal, capable of handling one-quarter to three-quarter screw sizes.The tungsten steel that it is made from feels very sturdy like it will last for a long time. It can be inserted into a ratchet spanner, a screwdriver, or an electric drill. Together with the included drill extender, I use it with my Makita cordless drill and it works really well.The only downside is that the honeycomb design does not grab bolts and screws quite as tightly as a single fitted socket would. Despite the less than perfect fit, I'm still able to tighten, unscrew everything I want. So this does not present any major issues with home DIY tasks. Overall, this is a cost-effective and versatile universal socket to have around the house. Full marks from me!

Pretty impressed by this little thing. The included 3/8" adapter worked perfectly with my impact wrench though I would note it's a bit short and ends up a bit stubby because of this. The individual pins on the front all spring back into place so you will need to push in a bit when in use to engage everything. Every thing that I tested this on was easy to drive and thankfully didn't slip but I only tested it on very light duty items. Comes nicely packaged in a plastic tube that can be reused if you want to ensure you don't scratch up the nice chrome finish.In terms of cons, I'm a bit worried about the rounded pins losing grip on come bolts, but in my brief testing so far it hasn't had that issue.Overall, very impressed by this little socket and it is a great addition to the toolbox. Will update my review if I run into issues but hasn't been an issue at all so far. Affordable price with some great versatility, checks all the boxes for a recommendation from me.
