Elegant, Pretty & Retains Soil Moisture
I love this elegant moss! It looks beautiful around my indoor plants which include a fiddle leaf fig, a snake plant, a rubber tree plant and a few others. I even use it outdoors in my raised garden around my strawberries and other vegetables to keep the soil from drying out too quickly. Also, my puppy doesn't chew on it like he chews on the other moss!

I tried several different types of moss before finding this one. It's been the best one so far. Looks good, works well, and goes a long way. Will buy again.

Absolute mess, but it does the job
I didn't read reviews carefully before purchasing, so I had no idea what a complete mess I was in for the moment I opened the bag and tried to pull some out. Tiny pieces of the moss get EVERYWHERE. I had a trail behind me as I walked just bringing a handful of it from one room to the other. There really doesn't seem to be a way to avoid it, other than having someone follow you with a broom or a vacuum as you place the stuff. That said, it looks good once it's safely in the pot. Trying to focus on that rather than the little pieces of spanish moss I'll be finding on every surface of my home for the next five years.

great for plants but messy to install
I was grateful I read a review from someone else who said this moss could be messy when you pull it out of the bag. I took my plants outside to put it in the pots. That was great advice. That being said, this moss is so nice for indoor and outdoor plants. It gives such a finished look to the inside plants.The outside plants are retaining moisture by having the moss on them. One bag covered 2 small and on large pot generously. It is natural and I like the way it looks in the pots. I will get this again for next years outdoor plants. I recommend it highly, but be aware when you pull it out. It is all connected and sheds quite a bit. I tore it into pieces to put in smaller plants.
