UPDATE:So I’ve had this battery for about seven months now (shocking, i know), but I discovered that I made a mistake! I didn't properly charge the battery, so it died a LOT faster on me. The battery works fine, the only issue i have at this point is the fact that my laptop will jump battery percentages from lower to higher. For instance, it will be charged and say it will last two hours, but will say four hours a few minutes later. That could just be my computer though. I gave this battery a second chance, and I think you give it a shot!I got this battery in January. It is now February and the battery has started to randomly shut off and die minutes after being turned on despite my computer saying i have hours of battery left. This was a cheap battery so i was expecting it to not last long, but only lasting less than two months? Come on. Spend your money elsewhere.

This is the third battery I am on for this laptop I have had for YIKES! seven years now. My time flies when you are replacing batteries. It annoys me that these things do not last but 2 hours, even brand new. They get so hot and I still do not get why the fan is placed where it cannot vent making the computer shut down unless I can raise it off the table to work. What can I say? This is yet another battery I have had to replace to keep using my laptop, which I am on for 13 hrs a day every day. So, I suppose I should think I am lucky in that case. It works. But I do not count on it working for very long, and expect to buy another one soon just because that is how this technology has been designed to go.

.... for my Toshiba L870D laptop. The laptop was almost never removed from AC power, so there wasn't a whole lot of charging/discharging happening over that period. A few weeks ago I had occasion to disconnect my laptop from AC power and the computer shut down immediately when switched to DC power. Even though the battery reports as healthy with 100% power available, it won't keep my laptop alive for an instant. I've troubleshot the problem and my charging brick is fine, so it's clearly time to replace this battery. But I won't be buying this particular battery from this particular merchant since their price has gone up about 24% since I last purchased from them.I'm not writing this review because I regret the purchase - I don't. I'm writing to point out to potential buyers that this battery comes with a 2 year warranty, and that my battery lasted two years.

So far so good. Wish it were available in the aluminium that would match the rest of the case of my Satelite, but the price certainly is hard to beat, and the computer recognized it as a valid battery as soon as it powered up. Have now had it nearly 2 months and it charges quickly and holds charge. I do not run the battery saver program from Toshiba - my laptop is plugged in most of the time. But it easily runs all the programs I have open for a couple of hours when I have meetings or am traveling.

I ordered it yesterday and it arrived this morning. It fit my Toshiba Satellite L875D-S7332 perfectly and charged up in an hour or so. I used it for internet and other light activities, and after 4 hrs it's still showing 13% battery left. (Your computer may use more power, or power-hungry activities like watching movies would not do so well) The instructions say to run it down to 2%, then charge to 100%. The Toshiba battery it replaced was part number PA5025U-1BRS. Only time will tell how well it holds up, but so far so good. If it doesn't hold up I'll change my review.

Didn't work for me, but I am pretty sure it was the laptop, not the battery.

My first battery was Ok and I rated it with 3 stars. The charge would only last about an hour. The company noticed this review and sent me an E-mail asking if they could send a half refund or replacement battery. I thought I would try a replacement. the battery got her in two days and is working fine. I like dealing with a company who cares about their customers. Thank You...

Worked right away, fixing the Toshiba curse where your computer won't work without the battery! If it lasts a year I would be satisfied...we'll see!

Like most cheap laptop batteries on amazon, the listed capacity of the battery does not match the labelled capacity of the cells within. If it was actually 5600 mah, each cell should be labelled 9.36 wh, not 7.92 (which works out to 2200 mah per cell or 4400 mah for the whole battery).

Battery was well packaged. Physically it was a bit of a tighter fit than the oem battery, but was not an issue. One potential cause for concern, no sticker or indicator of the production date of the battery, so unsure of how old it is. Battery was at 40% charge when it arrived. Had no issues recharging it. The battery life does seem to last almost as long as the oem battery the laptop came with. Not sure of the quality of the cells in the battery. Will update this review with how well the battery holds up in 6 months or a year.Update: After 2 months use, and having time to test the battery out. The battery charge seems to last 3 hours, with windows power settings set to balanced performance. The original battery when new from Toshiba would last a fair bit longer. Safe to assume the cells in this battery are not as high a grade as the ones used by Toshiba.For the cost this tree.nb brand battery seems to be worthwhile. Will update again if I see any significant degradation in the battery charge.

This battery lasts maybe 15 to 30 minutes from fully charged, I'm quite disappointed. It randomly shuts off my laptop, and I've had nothing but problems with my laptop since installing this battery. I don't recommend buying this, you get what you pay for. This is a poor quality laptop battery, I'm sure if i rigged up some AAA'S that would last longer than this does. I chose this from the reviews and model #.

This battery is needed to replace a battery from another Amazon supplier that I purchased a year and a half ago, and is now failing. The original battery that came with the laptop lasted 10 years.

My computer only last maximum 1 hour with this battery. What is the point of having a battery if it only last so short.
