Used this tape to mount a dryer vent to the side of my dryer and it works great! Very easy to use!

Seems to be actual 3M tape. Used it to redo the leading edge of the window guards on the truck side windows that were starting to not stick after six months on the truck. Also used to mount a phone holder on the dash - we'll see if it can support the phone with all the vibration.

I love this double-sided tape! I know it's not labeled 3M, but it sure works just as well. The trick is to first attach it to let it sit on the wall overnight, before hanging anything on the hanger or shelf. I was using it to mount the sensor for my mail alert and it even holds up to 15 F. Top quality!

Reviews were on both sides of the fence with this stuff so I took a chance and ordered as 3M is usually pretty decent. What I received is the least sticky of tape that I have ever used. I think plain old masking tape would stick better. Not sure if whatever I was sent is just potentially very old or what, but I could barely get it to attach to anything, let alone hold anything up, no matter how lightweight.

I tried to secure a few things inside our family's cars for various purposes and none of the double sided tapes that I own survived being in a hot car for more than an hour. After being frustrated for quite some time, I thought, there are millions of others who have similar needs: an adhesive material that can hold whatever it needs to hold in cold and hot weather, especially inside a hot car on a sunny day.So here I am, searching and searching and realizing that the 3M VHB is made to be idiotically strong. So I bought these and tried it.It is holding all the things I need it to hold even when the car got to 150F for several hours.Honestly I'm quite impressed. It's a bit pricey, but it freakin works. And THAT, is what matters. It works and it's a bit more expensive than the regular stuff, but it will do what the regular stuff can't even dream of doing.
