This is probably the easiest cyclometer to use, after set up...
CYCPLUS GPS Bike Computer, Wireless Cycling Computer with Automatic Backlight,Physically, this CYCPLUS GPS CYCLOMETER is 2 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" high, about 3/4" thick.the battery is not removable and is charged with a charging wire (included) from a USB powersource. To use this is very easy, all you need to do is get used to the screens, which toggle when pressing the MODE (bottom) button. This Cyclometer has all the basic functions you would need.Speed, in KPH or MPH, (TOT) Total trip time, (ODO) Trip miles(TIME)Clock time, (DIST) Trip distance(RTM) CLOCK, (ALT) AltitudeReading spead has 3 choicesMax Speed, / Current Speed, / Average SpeedNow be warned, the user manual is ok. It is not clearon all points as the wording gets twisted. The set up is pretty easy AFTER you get by theCLOCK SETTING.The Cyclometer is set to a time zone (GMT),and you have to find your time zone by addinga number or a -number to adjust the time.Your Time Zone will be either a positive # if east of GMTor a negative number if west.Pacific standard time is -8 hours (west) of GMT.If you cycle through the various options knowing youneed a minus number if west of GMT and a positive number if eastIt will take you a little time to get this one right.Once this is complete, the rest is easy.(some info for setting time borrowed from another review)The GPS took a couple minutes to find the satelites and startcalculating speed. Once the initial start up is done, itwill find the satelites faster next time you power up.The kph / MPH calculate a bit slow. It is possible to beracing down a road where you are picking up or dropping speedand the display will be off during the speed up or down time fora short amount of time.I only mention this as information, you may never noticethis display action. For those in a race for several days and do not want toCLEAR the ride time or the trip miles, DO NOT POWERDOWN THE CYCLOMETER. Let the cyclometer time outand go to sleep MODE, by not touching it. it will go to sleepin about 10 minutes. When you want to CLEAR THE CYCLOMETER, after theride, power the cyclometer down with the powerbutton. Next time you power up, the numbers willhave been reset to 0's.(ZEROS).The display back light will come on automatically,a good feature. The kph / MPH indication also has an arrow to the right forSpeed Moving up and Speed Moving down (Up and Down).however they are very small and you may miss them whenthey indicate speed changes. You change screens by quick pressing the mode (bottom) buttonto cycle through the 3 screens. To change the MILES display from Max Speed, / Current Speed,/ Average Speed, you need to quick press the "Speed" button. The "Speed button" is (a quick press) of the power button,to cycle through Max Speed / Current Speed / Average Speed.NOTE that if you LONG PRESS the Speed button, it reverts backto the POWER BUTTON and will shut down the Cyclometer.the next time you power up, the Trip Time and Trip Mileswill be cleared to 0's (zeros). For use on a bicycle, this has very easy controls so you won't take yourattention off of the race at hand. The buttons are medium sized, and you have to apply pressure acertain way to operate the switching on the buttons. That is the only oddity. This is a portable (wireless) GPS cyclometer and can be used from bike to bike,or in a car or truck to check speedometer accuracy or track vehicle miles.I've been using mine off and on for about 12 hours and the battery still has charge. As this is reliant on a satelite signal, going under trees, or in a tunnel where thesky is blocked, the GPS will track (or not) oddly until it gets a good signal from thesatelites again.I Recommend this Cyclometer. It is one of the easiest to use cyclometers thatI have used to this point. The fact that it is wireless GPS is even better.I do not know this seller and did not receive any money or product for my random review.241001 0054

Easy set up and brough smiles to the grandson receiving the odometer/speedometer and me, the Papa
9 year old grandson is into screens but in this case, with some reminder to pay attention to his bike riding!, we used the screen to boost outdoor fun. Motivated him to ride more and go faster, and gave me the chance to set up some goals for wekkly and monthly riding and rewards!!! Also fun to discuss how his bike and our cars all interact with the GPS satellites . Great value for the price. Easy assembly. Was fully charged when it arrived. In fact the sole comment about wishes would be better info on accessing the plug for charging.

Great unit but a bit chunky.
So far so good. Haven’t had a problem and much more user friendly than my other bike computer. Turn it on and it automatically finds the satellite. Large and useful display and auto shut off. My only complaint is that the unit although small in length and width is quite thick in depth. Not a deal breaker but for those cyclists who want something more “aero” then this is not it. For the rest of use who don’t shave our legs to gain 1 more watt of power then this is the best bang for the buck.

Mileage is pretty accurate, current speed is so-so
I rode with both it and my old computer today. My old computer has a magnet on the wheel and is very accurate. Both recorded today's ride as 20 miles (although this one was 1/10 mile less.) My old computer is hard to see; this one is not. It is real big and real easy to see.My issue with it is the current speed reading. I ride in South Florida where the roads are flat and straight. My speed does not vary much at all. While my old computer was reading straight 17 mph (maybe changing by 1/10 of a mph as I was riding,) this one was showing 13 and 15, then 17, then back to 15. It was all over the place. It settled down after a few miles, so I am not sure what the issue is. Here's my guess: its reading was more stable when I was in the open and less stable when there was tree cover. I think I will keep it, but I'm not sure I can trust the speed reading when I look down on it.90 days later: it is just not accurate. Period. It was showing 15.9 mph when I was stopped at a traffic light. Unfortunately I am beyond the 30 day window to return this completely useless waste of money.

It’s great!
I’m just now getting into biking and I wanted something to help me keep pace and keep track of time and distance without having to look at my Apple Watch. This product was easy to set up and worked great for my first ride! It was accurate with the time and mileage. The speedometer worked well too, there was maybe a few second delay but i don’t mind it. I would definitely recommend this product!

Don't Expect Too Much
The product description says the satellite connection will improve with time. That has not been my experience. Mine takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to connect. If I remember, I'll take the bike out of the garage prior to my ride, so that it can connect before I start. Otherwise, I'm riding for the first 5-10 minutes with all 0's on the Cycplus. Then there is the problem with setting the time. The manual says that the New York tie zone is -5. I'm in that time zone, but -5 does not give the correct time. I went back to the Amazon reviews and one suggests using Google to determine your time zone. I did that and found that my correct time zone was -4. Thank you Amazon reviewer! Also, don't trust the altitude reading. I can be at the same altitude and it will read anywhere from -10 (below sea level) to +44. I do live near the ocean, but if I was at -10, I'd be underwater. Since it is relatively flat where I bike, the altitude is not that important, but I thought I'd mention it if it is important to a potential buyer. Otherwise, the speed and distance seem to be accurate and the numbers are easy to read. I just wish that the satellite and battery icons were a little larger, so that they can easily be seen. So far I've ridden 10 hrs. and the battery icon looks to be at 50%, so battery life is good. Not sure how long the battery will last, before the GPS is useless (battery not replaceable).
