Décevant
Il faut brancher tous les jours 3-4 heures, et au bout d'une demi heure à peine la luminosité est déjà baissé.Ma petite lampe de poche de quelques dollars éclaire plus que cette lampe!

Bright and runs cool, but batteries die after a few months
Really liked these lights at first. Here's my original 5-star review:Used one of the lights to replace an older clip light that plugs into an electrical outlet. Was concerned that the old one runs too hot and might fall and start a fire. Although these new lights are powered by USB, they're very bright, especially on the highest of the three settings. What I really like about them is that they run cool. After running the lights for a few hours on their brightest settings, I put an infrared thermometer on each. These USB lights were 77 degrees on the plastic case and 91 degrees on the light itself. Fairly close to room temperature. The older light with a steel case and a small 25-watt incandescent bulb was much hotter. The steel case was 186 degrees. The light bulb itself was 276 degrees. That's way too hot for my peace of mind.Sept 2021:The rechargeable batteries in these die quickly. No way to replace them. That means they now have to be connected at all times to get any light. Downgrading to three stars.

Waste of my money. *Edit- finally got it working*
Reading other reviews, I can't understand how I even have the same product. When I received the lamp I was impressed with how easily and well it clamped on yo my bedside shelf, the three different brightnesses, and how I could free up an outlet by my bed by charging it and not needing to keep it plugged in.Until I actually tried to use it to read with other lights off. It dimmed very quickly, within a few pages it was too dim to read with. I've charged it all night, still dims within minutes.Reading with it plugged in is even more fun, every time the red charging light pulses, the while lamp flickers like a strobe.I emailed the company asking for help troubleshooting and they were absolutely no help.*Edit* so I charged it for a week, and switched to a different charger cord, and it's been working much better. Still dims randomly when I thought it was well charged, but now I can read with it plugged in.

Unbeatable price
I needed some light for reading and finding the remote at night so I bought these lights because they were 19.59 (including tax). I read the reviews and didn't have high hopes but since my last ones broke because my son loves bending it I figured better he break a cheap lights than a $30 light. The first day they were perfect and brighter than I expected them to be which was okay since I could dim them. Three days later and a lot of my sons turning them on and off and leaving them on the battery of the one on the right side died so I decided to change the batteries... but couldn't as they use an unusual battery type almost the size of a AA battery but bigger. It has a warning to not charge it while the battery is in it as it may burn the battery up, so I just took the battery out and connected it via usb connection since I have an outlet right next to it. It is just as bright now. I put the battery back in after a day of charging and the light works without it being connected to the usb again but I prefer to keep it connected via usb so I don't have to worry about charging it. Hope that helps anyone looking to buy it. I am honestly very happy with this purchase especially because of the affordable price, hopefully my kids don't break these but if they do I'll definitely be buying these again.

You get 2 hours of nice light.
I bought this because I read a lot during the day and move about to different rooms and take my work with me. I wanted better lighting that was easily mobile. They are cute and bright, but if you read for a long time I do not recommend. After a full charge through the night these will only stay bright for 2 hours...MAX (the description says 3-10 hours of light, and, well, that’s how long you can see the light stay on). After 2 hours it will get dimmer and dimmer, to the point you may see the light still on, but it’s not giving you any light. I’m currently at the 2.5 hour mark and it isn’t giving any light. The clip is large and sturdy and can clip to almost anything. Don’t worry about it slipping off surfaces; it forms a good grip. If you only read an hour before bed and need a small light then these are perfect. Anything longer you’d be better off getting something with a cord or a try a different light. Charging this nightly is also a hassle.
