Kalms Night - Valerian Root Extract

I was a little sceptical at first as to whether these tablets would assist with my lack of sleep where I have been waking in the 'wee small hours'.Only thing I cannot understand is why you have to take 4 x tablets at a time, per session - surely the company could make a slightly larger tablet of stronger strength where you would only need to take one or two tablets.I took these tablets about one hour before bed, as recommended and once I 'hit the pillow' I can't remember actually falling to sleep.The tablets do not make you drowsy, I didnt have a hangover from using them nor did they alter my senses or ability to get up during the night to use the bathroom - I returned to bed and fell straight back to sleep.Happy to recommend them, for the short period of use they are intended for.

I can't be the only person that thinks that these smell like blue cheese, can I?Down to specifics they work a treat, I'm in my early 30s and sometimes have trouble sleeping, as a result, I tend to take three when I actually got to bed and within roughly 10 minutes I can feel myself starting to relax and fall into a deep sleep. I find that if I take 3, I'll usually sleep straight through to the morning and if that period of time is roughly about 8 hours, I'll wake up feeling refreshed.However, if I take them and the sleep period is roughly six hours, I will wake up feeling still groggy. I don't think this is necessary due to the tablets but is due to the fact that we sleep in certain cycles and I think if the tablets carry us through to a certain point in time if your body doesn't have time to begin to wake itself up then you will wake up feeling slightly still asleep.I'm extremely comforted by the fact that these are natural herbs as opposed to chemicals in order to help sleep. I certainly didn't want to go ingesting something that could potentially harm me in the long run.The tablets are nice and small meaning that you can swallow them easily with a glass of water. However, I will say that you need to swallow them quickly before you smell them as they definitely smell like old shoes or blue cheese take your pick, I'm not suggesting you try to find out for yourselves.Apart from the latter, I am extremely pleased with the results.

Already on my second box. It won't knock you down or make you sleep much longer, but helped me a lot in getting better quality sleep.Really quite inexpensive here respect to my local pharmacy.As the recommended dose is 4 tables, I can easily take half to "tune" the effect, depending on how I feel.
