Try them , you wont be disappointed
I'm only on the 2nd pot of coffee using a filter. I can honestly say after the first time using a filter i was sold. Absolutely easy to use and no grounds. Plus I swear I believe the coffee taste better.

Less mess. Good coffee.
I use these in our travel trailer to make coffee in a percolator coffee pot on the gas stove. Less mess and good coffee.

Perfect for Percolator
We use these in our metal coffee percolator we purchased to replace the traditional coffee pot. They do fit perfectly and we will continue to use them, but a note of caution is they do tear easily after use. Moreso than traditional coffee pot liners.

No grounds, No mess…just the perfect percolator coffee
If you make coffee in a percolator, these are a must! Don’t waste your money on the round disk filters…they don’t work and you’ll end up with grounds in your coffee. I’ve been using these wrap filters for years. Sadly they’re very hard to find. In fact, I haven’t been able to find them in stores for a long time. Percolator coffee is by far the best. And with these wrap filters, you’ll have the best coffee with no mess.

GREAT Coffee Filters
I know that Coffee Filters for an "old fashioned" electric percolator might not be a bid deal. BUT you just can't find them anywhere but on Amazon. They keep the grounds out of the coffee. Thanks

Not a good match for 6 cup percolator
I have long loved the Melitta brand of coffee and coffee products. I really thought this was going to be a great solution for our 6 cup electric percolator. It turned out to be a lot of work for coffee consistently full of grounds. This product is designed for use in a 12 cup percolator metal basket. As others have said, you simply have to fold over the excess paper into the basket once you get the 4 corners of the paper filter seated on the metal basket stem. You will first seat the center hole of the paper filter over the center stem of your metal basket. Then next step gets more difficult. It would probably be much easier in a 12 cup basket, but in the 6 cup basket, you have so much extra paper to have to gently work with. GENTLY. More often than not, I tore the center hole while the filter was in the basket just trying to get the remaining paper tucked up around the edges of the metal basket. Once the paper filter is in place, you have to cover the hole in the metal basket while you drop your coffee into the paper filter, trying not to get any the excess folds of paper. Then while scooping your coffee in, either gently shake or turn the basket so that your coffee gets level in the filter. Once you have all the coffee in the paper filter, you fold the 4 corners over the metal stem. And then fold the excess paper into the basket.I've tried this multiple times and invariably get a lot of grounds in the coffee cups. As a side note, a small sample of Brew Rite filters of this same design came with the pot. These were the same size but made of a slightly thicker paper and worked only a little bit better.I have also tried the round discs which are perforated and can be made to fit the bottom of the metal filter basket on the 6 cupper correctly. They were much messier. My ultimate solution was a permanent filter basket, purchased here, and very few grounds wound up in the brewed coffee.

Work great
This brand is the best if you still want the great flavor from that old percolator pot. Have bought other off brands due to lower price but the hole punches were terrible, won't ever buy anything other than this brand again.
