Quality & value!
Very pleased with the quality of these basil seeds! The price was much better than other brands too. These were puffed up in less than a minute, perfect for my morning rush of a breakfast. After soaking, I strained them and added to yogurt. Tomorrow I'm making a pudding with them. Being so versatile and healthy, I'm planning to incorporate them into my daily diet. And no, they don't taste like basil, so they can literally be added to almost anything.

Perfectly Delicious for my favorite summer hydration!
I ADORE the sugary basil seed drinks I get from the Indian grocery. However, I have Reactive Hypoglycemia, lucky lucky me. It's difficult to balance that much sugar with enough protein to compensate and prevent a reaction. We can't carry Quest protein crackers around 24/7. I have a delicious Pitta-friendly hydration mixture, that these are so perfect with. you put a couple of teaspoons (or tablespoons if you want enough ready to mix) in equal parts filtered water and quality food-grade rosewater. Make sure you put in enough that they can open up fully. When you make yourself a nice big bottle of water, add this is in taste with a little sweetener (sugar is not needed) and you're set for delicious hydration that feels decadent without the calories or hypoglycemic crashes. This is a really great value for the size, it will last ages and you'll thank me when your coworkers are drinking their boring water and you have a bottle of Yummmm bliss!

Nutritional label is useless
I don’t like that the nutritional information all says zero and is basically useless. Otherwise it’s as advertised.

Good deal for the volume
Meets my expectation, I use it in my daily drinks, don't use or eat it dry.

Great quality basil seeds
I add these along with chia seeds to my water daily for extra fiber and omega-3 intake. These are comparable to chia seeds, but have different nutritional properties, so I'd definitely recommend doing some research to see which you can benefit from the most. Just soak in water for roughly 30 minutes and they're ready to drink! The basil seeds soak up water almost immediately and I rarely find any "duds" that don't gel up as they should. If you're just trying to make some traditional Asian desserts, these would be my go-to for that as well. The basil seeds have the mild flavor you'd expect and when they do expand, they're a nice bouncy yet crunchy consistency. I always have these in my pantry!

No Protein in the product, BEWARE!
Very strange. The reason I purchased was for added protein, which Basil Seeds are SUPPOSED to have. Very disappointed.
