BlumCompact Blumotion 39C (New Bmn) Hinge & Plate, For 1-3/8" Overlay, Wraparound, Screw-On, 20-Pack

Changed out all our kitchen cabinet door hinges with these replacements. Our old ones were over 20 years old and the plastic was breaking on the inside to the door wouldn't stay closed. These are a very nice soft close and working great. Easy to switch out to the new.

Perfect replacement for 1 3/8" overlay hinge. I used 2 on existing 3 hinged doors and 1 on 2 hinge doors. My doors are light so they work very well. They have a switch to turn the soft-close off if you want to replace all hinges on a door but use less than the total number of hinges to be soft close. Very simple replacement of existing hinges. Do not come with screws but the use of existing screws works fine. Replacing 3 hinges takes about 2 minutes per hinge, then adjusting each door about a minute.

I ordered this 3 times, 2 times was correct size last time 1 1/4 mixed with 1 3/8 send, missing 2 set in last package. Product is good works great but have to wait for replacement. Check your package as soon as arive

Bought a new (to me) house. Had the contractor grade hinges so the cabinet doors slammed shut. The Blum soft close hinges fixed that effortlessly. In my case I had 1-3/8-inch sized hinges and the Blum are available in that size. Removed my old hinges - one at a time - and put in the new using the existing screws and screw holes. Maybe I was lucky, but this was one of the most satisfying and probably the easiest DIY project I've ever completed.

Good Value for money

I disliked that they were not specific in noting in their description that NO screws were provided with the hinges. I had to provide my own at extra expense. Had I known that, I would have have purchased the more expensive ones that provided screws, hence 3 stars. Needed them too fast to send back or I would have.

I bought this as a replacement for an earlier model Blum hinge which easily broke. The problem is, this vendor, and many others apparently, sell the hinge without the fastening screws. That apparently made the price very reasonable, but the hinges useless. I wrote to the vendor through Amazon; no response. Very poor business practice. Far as I can tell, the only vendor that sells the complete item is the Dexter group, but at considerably higher cost. Buyer beware! Don't be deceived by the cut-rate price.
