Make sure the white silicone "feeling" seal is firmly placed against the bottom with this bottle is assembled. Make sure you are completely dissembling the bottle to clean. The air you see rising in bottle is because of the air exchange coming fron the bottom. That air is rising In bottle when in a feeding position, that would otherwise be going in our little one's tummy. We love these bottles!!
