Mostly 5 star
I purchased these for an Alaskan cruise and was generally quite pleased with them. They were a little heavier than I had anticipated, but the optics were clear and I was able to spot quite a bit of wildlife with them. Yes, you can get less expensive binoculars, but honestly, these will last for years to come. Never had issues focusing and they worked well for me when I removed my glasses. If I had one negative to say, it is about the lens caps. They don't fit tight and are easily bumped off. Thankfully, we just used these on our balcony, but if I was taking them out sightseeing or hiking, I would be worried that the lens caps would easily go missing.

Impressive optics
These are great. Loved the clarity and optics. I can see why this brand is a staple for some people. I returned these for two reasons: I wanted something more lightweight and compact for traveling, and the focus knob was a bit difficult to turn (which might be a good thing for some people).

Very nice beginner binoculars at a great price
I bought these for wildlife viewing on vacations, especially for our upcoming Alaska cruise. I went with these because of the price and the Bushnell brand reputation. They are known for quality at a budget price. There are cheaper ones out there but I don't trust the quality of unknown brands. These Bushnell's are solidly built with an all metal frame covered in rubber or plastic material. The feel is very nice to hold and easy to grip.I chose the porro prism binoculars because they provide better depth perception than roof prisms. They are a nice compact size and not as bulky as they appeared in the photos. They are waterproof, which is a necessity for rainy locations or anywhere with sea spray. They include a basic carrying case with a strap, a neck strap and a lens cleaning cloth.Setting the adjustments is the same as any standard binoculars. Watch a video about how to adjust binoculars (easy to find on a web search). The small instruction paper that came with these were useless. Adjustment is easy though the focus knob and diopter wheel are very tight. You won't have a problem with that unless you have arthritic fingers like mine. I think young children might also have a hard time focusing them. It might get looser with use. The eye cups adjust for wearing glasses, though I don't need to use my prescription glasses with these.I recommend these as a first set of binoculars for casual sightseeing and animal watching. I deducted one star from my rating because the front lens caps are very loose and fall off as soon as the binoculars come out of the case. They should have included attached lens caps like many other brands have. I won't be surprised if they get lost and I will have to buy replacements.

Ok
A little heavy. Draw back is the lens covers do not stay on.

Top of the Line, Perfect view, Bushnell Binoculars
The view on these H2O 10x42mm Binoculars are superb... very sharp, clear and bright. They are fully multi coated lens... perfect for looking at the night sky or in any low light condition. These binoculars are solidly made. The Bushnell Binoculars are 30.5 oz., have an aluminum construction body with rubber armor that should last for years. The lifetime guarantee is backed by a great Company.I have a collecition of Nikon, Busnell, and Celestron, Carson binoculars over the years and these are among the best. I loved the H2O whole line of binoculars,Some binoculars say they are water proof but these binoculars have WATERPROOF AND FOGPROOF CONSTRUCTION IPX7 ratingFinally the neck strap lugs are large so you can easily replace the neck strap to a wider neck strap.

Nice quality Binoculors
We live in a rural area and like to watch the wildlife. As a result, we have several (black) binoculars all over the house. I wear glasses and wanted to "dial in" a pair so I could use them without glasses. The blue color makes these "mine" and easy to identify. No more smudged glasses from the bino rings for me!

Good
I'll start with the best: clear, crisp and bright image, magnification is good, better than some cheap 20/50 and shorter than those. Comes with a nice bag, soft on the inside and the binocular strap going around your neck is wide and comfortable. The bad: It's not 1 lb. as is written in the description. The weight is exactly 30.5 oz., which is a disappointment because i wanted something very light. In description says that is light due to the aluminum construction but is the same weight as the cheap ones. The rubber lenses protection -the big ones - fall off all the time (how hard is to design a lens protection to actually stay on the scope. All in all is a good product but be aware they are not lighter than others.
