Good way to get ethernet like speeds without having to run ethernet in your house.
Bought 3 of these to share out connections from my router to my boys' rooms. They picked up a connection right away after being plugged in and they're showing speeds just about as fast as if I were able to run ethernet straight to their rooms. Would recommend these to anyone.

EASY TO INSTALL! FANTASTIC TV PICTURE & SOUND!
Easy to install. Took longer to determine which cable in the attic was the one I needed to connect to. First off I have COX cable service that has a RG-58 cable connected to MY own NETGEAR Modem. I have a TP-LINK AX5400 Router attached to my Netgear modem. From the router I have a CAT-5 cable that goes thru the wall and up to the attic. In the attic I have a TP-Link TL-SG105 Switch. From the switch I run a Cat-5 to our kitchen desk for a desktop computer and then I ran a Cat-5 to the new Trend-Net TMO-312C2K box. In the attic I found the old RG-58 cable TV line, attached a connector to it then connected it to one of the Trend-Net boxes. Once connected I plugged the TMO to an outlet. Behind the TV in our main family room about 25 feet away was the cable outlet. I connected the other TMO unit to that cable outlet then plugged the CAT-5 cable from the TMO unit to a Roku Ultra LT HD/4K/HDR Dolby Vision Quad-Core Streaming Player. From the player to the TV. The lights on the Trend-Net TMO started blinking to let me know it had a signal. Turned on the TV and switched the Roku from wireless to "WIRED" connection and WOW--What a Difference in the picture Quality and sound!! I have Direct TV Streaming.

Life Savers
We moved into a new build and I noticed that they didn’t run any low voltage Ethernet - only coax - as if we were moving into a new 1990’s hope. I was super annoyed, because WiFi is good, but can only deliver mediocre results. I discovered these online and realized I should give it a try.To my delight, these things work amazingly well - and you learn how to terminate coax cable correctly in the meantime. Once I had everything done, it lit up immediately and has been giving me 1GB speeds at each end point. I tied that into my existing gigabit netowrk and my network connectivity problems were solved. They have been working for 4+ mths and I am so happy I have them. Will buy more when we build an office and second garage. Would recommend!

Life changing device!
Why did it take me soooo long to hear about this!??Living in a large, brick home that has a FIOS modem & router on one end of it and attempting to use a range extender for streaming at the other end of it was NOT working. At. All.Then the old COAX "cable boxes" get shut down and replaced with wireless devices. Which meant attempting to relocate the modem and router (and crawling under a 30 year old house to drill holes for new wires...NO THANK YOU).My son came home from college & said MoCA was the answer. So I delved into the world of MoCA.1. The new Verizon Fios routers ARE compatable. There seemed to be alot of yes/no discussion around this.2. You only need 1 box if your router is compatible. The set up was very simple. Coax line in wall. Box. TV. My son said something about direct connecting to ethernet for gaming speeds (which he uses when home), but that means nothing to me. I now can stream movies/TV with no lag, freezing, buffering or Interruption. Yay!And I know it saved me upwards of $800 by not having to have someone come run new lines throughout my house.

Do not buy!
Unless you have two coaxial systems in your house, this useless product will not work. Customer service was friendly but could not address false advertising. They also kept insisting that I needed to follow the Quick Installation Guide which was a joke as they show internet service coming into the house through the air! This internet signal enters the house by magic. Then you capture that signal somehow and connect it to a router. Once you have achieved this feat, you are all set because now you can connect the router to the adapter and then connect a coaxial cable from the adapter to an unused coaxial port. Now don’t forget that this port is unused because you don’t need it to bring the internet cable into the house because you previously magically got that signal through the air. Using a cable splitter does NOT work. Two Trendset reps finally told me to just connect the two adapters to each other completely bypassing the entire coaxial system in my house!!I got a comcast tech to come and he could not do anything. He said that if one does not have two coaxial systems say one was used for cable and another was used for a satellite dish, then the adapters will not work. Or you pay someone to run another coaxial wire through the walls of your house to connect two rooms. I wasted many hours trying to make this useless adapter work including watching various how to videos. Needless to say I am returning this terrible product including all the various coaxial and Ethernet cables that I had to buy separately as no cables were included in the box! Who needs cables when you can get high speed internet through the air?

Buy this. Right NOW!
I decided, finally, to give this manner of networking a try. I avoided it for a very long time. Now, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. Yeah, I had the long Cat 5 cable, hot glued to the baseboards, running from my office, down a hall, and finally to the living room. The minute this product arrived, I gathered the necessary cables and hooked it up. That afternoon I pulled all that cable. This device is phenomenal and FAST! I can't give it enough praise. To add other devices to me wired network, all I need to is get another receiver.
