Nice little fountain
I enjoy the sound next to my bed. I read other reviews that said it splashes everywhere, but I’ve not had that issue. It’s adjustable, so perhaps that happens on high and/or if the water is too full. Also, some people didn’t find the sound to be relaxing. I didn’t like it right away either, and thought about returning it. The sound changed though, from a higher pitch to a lower pitch, when I added some pebbles. Now I find the sound relaxing. I recommend it if you’re willing to play around with adjusting the sound. It’s a great size for a nightstand.

My little Zen fountain
Love this little fountain. Works well, love the sound of the water and do not hear the motor. Minimal amount of splashing, but I still have it on a large glass plate.

Nice visual and audible audition to the house.
The media could not be loaded. This item arrived as expected and was easy to set up. The tube for the pump was a bit too long and needed to be cut for the platform to sit flat. For those reviewing and saying water splashes everywhere, they probably did not realize the pump has a low, mesium, high switch on it for the water flow. As can be seen in the picture, I added a small piece of driftwood to have a variation in the water sound and to add some more earth tones.

Just a tad complicated
At first I thought this was the easiest, low maintenance fountain I have gotten since normally the rest are quite an ordeal to acomodare and clean. This one is quite simple in that aspect. HOWEVER, set up was not easy and you’ll have to tinker with it ALOT every time you need to clean or move anyting around to get the motor to silence. It will not be enough to just fully cover with water. The tube that came is super hard and long so you will have a terrible time cutting it until it’s exactly perfect. Don’t do it all at once because if you cut it too short it’s done. The tube is way too small for the connector so you will do quite a bit of struggling and I can definitely see how most people never get it in. Once I did I couldn’t get it out. So now it’s too long and since it’s so hard and won’t sit upright suction-cupped to the bottom as it’s meant to but instead sideways.Even when completely submerged the motor makes sound that’s louder than the splashing water so you need to continuously tinker with it and move it around until you get it to stop making noise. Unfortunately with other systems I’ve had when this happens eventually there will come a time the noise won’t stop.I love the design and simplicity of this style. My concern is how long with it function accordingly. We shall see!

Beautiful Sound & Zen-like Elegance
I have had numerous fountains over the years - some far more expensive than this little beauty. No fountain has had such a perfect sound as this! As you can see, it's become part of a vignette that has yet to fill in. The simplicity of this piece, as well as its rather petite size, make it perfect for such an undertaking, though it is elegant on its own.One of my favorite characteristics of this fountain is the large bowl. Even in the dry air of Tucson, I don't need to top it off more than once every three to four days. I've never run it until the motor - the blessedly silent motor - was exposed.I do add algaecide to the gallon of distilled water from which I fill it. I love that there are no mineral spots nor any sign of algae after a solid month of running. I'm only halfway through the gallon from which I filled the fountain! I mention this because it's rather astounding that I've run it for a month and have any of the original gallon jug left, let alone a full half! But what matters most about any fountain? The sound. With this fountain, its beautifully variable tones do not fight with a noisy motor for dominance. The provided motor is silent. This is also a first for me!Whether you incorporate this fountain into a larger design, place it on an altar, or run it on your office desk, you will hear nothing but the water. The design is elegant. The materials and components are high quality. I cannot imagine being disappointed by this small fountain, as long as you're aware of the size. The only thing I would add would be an inline switch to the electrical cord for convenience. But really, once you plug it in, you'll only want to stop it for cleaning, which is a breeze.I hesitated on this one simply because I had so many bad experiences with fountains in the past. This had brought nothing but joy! Some of the plants and the peacock feathers were purchased from Amazon as well.Enjoy!

Simple and Beautiful
I love this fountain. The pump has excellent pressure: I often need to crank these to full blast, but not in this case. The pump hose needed a little trimming, and I added river rocks to cover the pump. The little upright jug on top makes a cool little vessel for you to get creative with. The finish inside the vessel is not the same glaze on the outside, and I'm uncertain if it is porous or not. My original idea was to use the vessel as a small scent stick diffuser - still might give this a try.In the images attached, the white fading/splattering you see near the water output and on the rim of the bowl is not part of the finish. This is slight water calcification from months of use and can be cleaned off.

I got a used fountain that barely works
Not happy, looks like it was a previously returned item, used. Also, it’s been running for an hour, it barely moves water through the pump and the pump is noisy. Not what I expected at all.
