Works well so far. Make sure you have a good mount for it. Doesn't come with any mounts. Display is easy to read.

this is all around better as the brains of the unit are mounted to ...
have the gauge installed on my Subaru, the sender would not fit underneath in the normal mounting location, so with advice from my mechanic we mounted it on the back side above transmission and beneath the intercooler next to the pitch stop mount with a remote mounting point, this is all around better as the brains of the unit are mounted to the firewall and not subject to all the vibrations of the engine. had the install done in late august and its now January and i have noticed for a few weeks its been giving false readings, showing 5-0psi during idle up to full throttle.. today had the issue looked at and what they found is that the pressure gauge that attaches to the motor is slowly leaking, i.e.. some kind of manufacturing defect, i had to top off the oil a few times as it was more than you would think a small leak could cause. my mechanic is more of a tuner shop dealing with performance sport cars mostly subaru. he said this was the second time he has seen this exact problem. inside the car the gauge itself has a good color (i have amber) can be difficult to read in the bright daylight but great when its dark.

Trash
Trash. Sensor was broken right out of the box and the gauge had a short in it, causing the backlight to stay on all the time (8 volts was coming from the ground wire directly out of the gauge). Before my wiring or ability to read instructions is doubted, I’m an aircraft propulsion technician with many years of dealing with electronics. The gauge and sensor were broken right out of the box. Swapped it out for an autometer electric oil pressure gauge and it’s working just fine.

Decent gauges
To be honest, I’ve had a few problems with my ProSport boost gauge sending unit on the electrical-style model.. I went through 2 or 3 sending units (I work as a tech at a Subaru Performance shop, so I install gauges all the time) and I gave up and went with a mechanical unit. (Unfortunately ProSport didn’t hook me up at all lol). I probably would have bought a different brand, but the ProSport amber gauges match my 2008 Wrx factory gauges so well; I just decided to deal with it.So anyways, I got the matching oil pressure gauge, and the remote sending unit kit, which was easy to install.I have it set white during the day and amber at night. So far it’s good (just make sure you have a good ground connection and all of your wiring/ crimps are tight.) My only complaint, is that my boost gauge and oil pressure gauge are slightly different in color and font/ letter size. Oh well.

04 xt a must have
Installed on my 04 forester xt due to prior turbo failure x 2 - after removing the infamous bango bolt filters i decide to install one of these to keep and eye incase it happened again- 2 months and we are all good- due your research on all the parts u will need to get this to work on a subaru i used the rear galley plug because of tge clearance issue of the sensor sending unit — google bnpt vs npt for tge galley plug that works with this unit

The senders are GARBAGE
Have had the oil pressure and boost gauge installed for about 50,000 miles. Over the course of 3 years I've replaced 3 oil pressure senders and two boost sensors. These gauges are also surprisingly noisey in operation, i.e. If you're sitting around with the car off, you can hear them trying to make small movements. The senders prosport uses are Chinese crap that has no business under the hood of an automobile. The amber is way too dim to be readable during daytime so white needs to be wired as the primary color.
