This is quite a large compact mirror. It's 9cm in diameter, and to put that into context, it's larger than the palm of most people's hands. Despite its size, it still fits easily in even my smallest handbag and it's lightweight. I actually like the size - it makes it easier to see everything when the mirror surface is larger.The mirror is very easy and comfortable to open and close.The top part has a x10 magnification and the bottom part has the normal x1 mirror. x10 is a much bigger magnification than my previous x3 compact mirror gave.There is a ring light along the bottom mirror's border, which provides a cool-white, 6500K blue-ish light. You can get other compact mirrors that give you more light colour options (eg giving options to have warm=white and daylight-white alongside the cool white), but they tend to be more expensive than this one.To switch the light on, you do a double tap on the lightbulb icon on the mirror. A long-press on the button dims the light or brightens it, and another short press switches the light off. The light doesn't have a brightness-memory (which other higher-end compact mirrors do) so when you switch it on again it always starts at full brightness. The mirror is also not smart enough to switch off by itself when you close the mirror - you need to close the light manually.Overall, a lovely large mirror, that lacks some smart, higher-end features, but it still fantastic at what it does.

It’s a handy size but the magnification is poor.

Lasted about 4 days using once a day. Didn't need the light so didn't try to charge until recently and it just won't charge. Unfortunately my return window is closed so I'm now stuck with an expensive hand mirror.

The media could not be loaded. Great little hand mirror. The light on this is awesome. It's so bright but has the advantage of being able to dim it also.The lighting where I do my make-up is terrible but this is great for checking areas I may have missed or eyebrow plucking strays !It charges super fast and has a red led while it's charging and green when it's fully charged.It's lightweight but well made and it's going to become a firm favourite in my handbag and makeup kit.Would make a really useful gift for mother's day or for my teenage daughters.Great product.

Its two sides are ideal for close-ups because it features a conventional side and a magnified side. Even in low light, it is simple to see thanks to the LED lighting.
