Fackelmann6.7" Can Opener For Left Handed, Red/Silver

I bought these for my left handed 11 year old grand-daughter. She gets frustrated every time she is in the kitchen as she constantly asks someone to cut open a package/bag as she can't easily work with right handed scissors i don't think she realized what a blessing these scissors were going to be. The next day i received a text from her all excited that she was baking brownies and used them for the very first time. The highlight of her text was when she said ... "these are too cool - i can't believe they really work" ... coming from a grand-daughter of little words - it warmed my heart! if you are left handed or know of any one who is left handed these scissors are a 'must have' ,,,

This can opener was unable to ever open even one can. It barely pierces the can and then you start turning the handle and you get less than 1” cut open and it starts riding off the side of the can. Also, the handle is poorly affixed to the gear and just starts spinning if there’s too much pressure. Could not get it to work at all. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, your loved one will be heartbroken when it doesn’t work and they have waited their whole life to try a left handed can opener and they are a lefty.

Product unscrewed and fell apart twice while being used . Poor design . There should be some lock to keep from being unscrewed when used .

My son's are leftys and cannot use a righty can opened. This has done the trick ! Seems durable and well constructed but only time will tell

We haven't owned this a year, and it's already going in the garbage. It is still "usable" but it would take me about four minutes to open one can because it slips off of the can with each turn.

As with the others I too upon first use has it completely fall apart. I put it back together and can tell you what I learned.the reason it falls apart is because the knob for turning is threaded into the part that rotates the can, and if you rotate it towards you the knob unthreads and it falls apart. When testing this product they should have found this out readily an perhaps spot welded the parts together or at least some thread locker. The next issue is that the teeth don't mesh as smoothly as they should and it gets "hung up" too often causing the opener to slip right off the rim dropping the can completely. The opener had to be repositioned at least 4 times to open a small can of tomato paste.So nice try, but its total crap. I would rather use a right handers opener retardedly and complete the can in one try than use this JUNK ......DO NOT BUY...

Had a hard time finding a left handed can opener for my daughter. She learned to use our right handed one but this makes it easier for her.

It arrived just yesterday. I’ll return it rather than present her with such a disappointment.Luckily, the heavier right-handed one arrived first. Its handles are longer, and so is the crank, which folds out so you can turn it like a bike pedal. We’ll test drive that thing today on a thick can. I predict success.

The first time I used the product, it broke into pieces immediately. I requested a refund or exchange, and they denied the request due to it being sent after a period of time. I was sent a defective product, and they will not send me a new one or issue a refund. Extremely angry.

Produit conforme pour les gaucher! Pour l'instant testé sur des boîtes de concerves simple mais c'est tellement agréable d'ouvrir ses propres boîtes sans demandé à quelqu'un de le faire. Je recommande ce produit : )
