I call the style of underwear that I love "bucket underwear" because they have full coverage, cotton comfort and they don't require adjustment through the day. Some people call them granny panties- but I hate that. I'm not even 40 and I've been wearing bucket underwear my whole happy, yeast infection free life. I refuse to wear a thong or anything small, itchy or only for looks. I prefer comfort. I couldn't care less about panty lines or what anyone thinks about my underwear. I love them.These are exactly perfect. Soft. Comfortable like a t-shirt. Not too high. Not too short. Cute colors. Thin but not cheap cotton. Great fit. I found the size chart to be accurate and I also bought the same size I wore last year. These wash well- shrinkage is minimal. Love these. I bought 7 packages. Yay for underpants!

I needed one size larger (13) than I used to need in this style (and I've lost some weight since I bought the last batch, which was size 12). This size (13) fits a little snugger than size 12 used to fit, but is still acceptable as a 12. HOWEVER, the elastic band around the waist is different than it used to be on this model/style of brief, too thin and the stitching is almost--for lack of a better word--sharp. Not sure what thread they used but it is like having fishing wire up against your skin. I have to fold the elastic band over to tolerate these. Otherwise, the material seems quality and the colours are fun and not fading. So all in all, buy one-two sizes bigger than you need and be aware that the elastic band is very uncomfortable.

When ordering these panties, I looked very closely at the description and the available colors. In the description, there are two sets of colors. One set is mostly a striped set, the other set is very pretty and flowered. The description says and I quote 'multi-colored heather'. The package shown in the description has the words 'new heather colors' on it.At first I selected a size 9 and the only set I could get a size 9 in was the striped set. Then I decided I needed a size 10 and the only set I could get a 10 in was the pretty flowered set. That was fine with me, as I really liked the flowered set.When I received my package, the size 10 was correct, but the pattern was the striped set. The striped set is not pretty. It has quite dull colors and I'm not happy with them at all.When ordering a size 10, it showed on my computer screen I could only get the flowered set in that size. But then the striped set shows up at my door?As far as the quality of the panties....they are thin as a number of reviewers have stated. Some reviewers have also stated that the band is scratchy. The band doesn't particularly bother me but I can see where it might others.I have purchased many Fruit of The Loom panties over the years. Never thru Amazon, only in stores. And I've always been happy with them. But the quality of these panties I purchased from Amazon I would say is 'fair.Due to receiving the striped set rather than the flowered one I am only giving this product one star. I would return them but I've already opened the package and thrown it away. I won't be ordering these again.

I just ordered these and washed them and I have been wearing them for a few days. My old panties were in sad shape. Some of them had issues with stretched out elastic and some were full of holes. We should all remember what our Mothers said when we left the house about clean panties. Any way I washed these and I really love the fit. They don't ride up or twist around. The fabric is comfortable and they washed and dried nicely. I will be ordering more as soon as I can bring myself to throw some other old ones away.
