CFexpress Type A reader is very fast on transfer speed
The ProGrade CFexpress Type A reader is very fast on transfer speed. Cool bonus, the reader has a strong magnet on its base and can be easily attached to any metal surface, like a laptop.

Can't Go Wrong With ProGrade
I have been using Prograde cards for quite a few years now for photography and have had zero issues. I recently switched to using CFexpress type A and needed a reader, so did not hesitate with the ProGrade option. This is not an inexpensive card reader, but it is absolutely a professional piece of equipment. Having both CFexpress and SD slots is perfect for me because those are the two forms of memory that I shoot with. Overall build quality is excellent with a great sturdy feel and the built in magnet is awesome. You can attach it to your computer but I actually just magnetically attach it underneath my metal laptop stand to keep it safely out of the way. Import speeds have also been great so far using a MacBook Pro.

For Sony users best price/performance memory card reader
I wanted a faster SD card reader cause i had 3500 gigabyte images shot when travelling, and my old one is really slow (20mb/s), and my camera often bugs and one time even accidently deleted images, so having a good reader was a must have. I considered the Sandisk one, Sony and this one. Sandisk fell off cause no CFexpress Type A, as Sony user it feels not wise to buy reader without CFexpress Type A for future, Sony almost made it but few negative reviews and higher price made me choose Prograde reader.First impressions: Small! The Sony is definitely bigger. While a bit plasticky it's build nice and strong, the inserting of memory card feels good quality. The connection cable is really short, 25cm, i cannot put it on table because of that, cause i have very large pc, with motherboard on top. Luckely i can just let it rest on top of pc, not preferred, but small downside.Copy speed is much better, worst i've seen is 67mb/s but that was a rare 'low', usually 120mb/s, with peaks off 230mb/s. Copying a 512gb V60 card easely done in about an hour. That would have taken a day with old card.Another nice thing, I own V30 cards from Sandisk (extreme pro), and technically the write speed is only 30/mbs. Normally read speed is not much faster, and sandisk claims only their card reader can get 200mb/s, but the Prograde comfortably held 160mb/s read speed. For the price i payed this is definitely the best price/performance Card reader for Sony users (who might get Cfexpress in future).
