Awesome Protection – One Can Goes a Long Way!
I used Scotchgard Sun and Water Shield on my outdoor cushions, and it worked great! I didn’t use it on my umbrella, but one can easily covered 7 large cushions with a little left to spare. Water now just beads right off the fabric, and it helps protect against sun damage too. The spray goes on evenly and doesn’t leave any weird residue or smell after drying. I recommend using it in a well-ventilated area though, since the fumes can be strong during application. This stuff is a must-have if you want to protect your outdoor cushions or furniture. I’ll definitely be using it again!

Works great
I use this spray once a year to coat my patio furniture and umbrella. It works great for months afterwards, even in the wild FL weather and prevents water from fully soaking into your furniture.

Good product, high price for the quantity
The product seems to work( time will tell if it helps the material from fading). It doesn’t cover much from a single can. I bought another brand that came in a larger container for a little bit more money. It covered the rest of the material and with some left over.

Great product
This works amazing. We used it on our hot tub cover and out door fabric furniture and the water just beads off of it. It helps preserve it.

Report on coverage and initial rain repellant
Haven't experienced enough time to see if it actually works, but wanted to report on coverage.I was able to apply this to 10 cushions with a little more than 2 cans; maybe 2 1/2, but i wasn't sure how much to apply.Updated review: after several strong rain storms, i can attest that the water repellant feature is good. i'll later update on the UV protection.Back after a few weeks of summer sun. i can now attest that this does not prevent fading. Still holding up against the rain though. These were new covers this year.
