Amazing set
I have chisels and plane blades that desperately needed sharpening. I've tried the sand paper method but as most of us we can't hold things at a proper angle so the sharpening gets messed up.. The guide that comes with this is great.. 1 complaint though... The gap they put in it makes it hard to hold chisels flat since many chisels have a weird almost octagonal shape. Would be better if the inside of it was just flat so it could hold just the sides of the blade. Otherwise this set is awesome. The holding tray is plastic. so use like a silicone mat or something under it to prevent slipping.. All in all. They work, and they work great. I was so happy with it I even bought their high grit plates

A good tool to keep other tools and knives sharp.
I have read several reviews of this sharpener and its coarser 400/1000 grit counterpart. I don’t get most of the negative reviews. It works well. The weight of the base is adequate for common size knives. It works as it should. The price is reasonable.

Best I've had for the cost.
I've had this stone about a year. I have zero complaints, the grits are durable and the plastic base holds the stone securely. The four rubber feet keep it from sliding in use. Perfect for kitchen, utility knives, hatchets, etc. A great deal for the money and I expect it to last me many more years.

Delivered on time and in good condition.
I just got it and used it on a couple scissors. One turned out very good and the other ok. It is a practice thing, not a product thing. It work great, I just need to practice and will get better on the angles to use.

You get what you pay for, i suppose.
The plates that sharpen are stuck to a plastic core. I dont expect this to last but a few sharpening sessions.

Very impressed
Works great. Sharpens well. You need some experience sharpening knives to get the best results.

Almost worth money.
Not top quality, but quality enough for price. Stone is nice, angle piece is usable.
