Great product,works well

Decent quality paper

Its a hit and miss , it does dry really quickly, i am going to use it as a rough sketch book.Otherwise function, size, sturdy and value all ok . Texture of paper nice and smooth.Maybe this would be good for gauche painting as it dries quickly.

Good quality pad. Can purchase cheaper in the shops however this was convenient at the time.

I found this paper a very drying for acrylic but it is excellent for watercolours. Good quality paper and looks fine when dry.

My daughter is always running out of watercolour paper, we ordered this and it’s exactly what she needed.

I purchased this pad with some watercolour pencils as a first attempt at drawing/painting to try and help with mental health.I have never attempted anything with watercolours and tbh I have never really put any time into drawing or art.Only having purchased a cheap set of pencils I can't comment on how the pad would perform with higher quality pencils but I found the paper a little light weight once you add water.I didn't notice the weights of watercolour papers previously but this pad is only 140g/M2 where as I see lots recommending nothing less than 300g/M2 for watercolour painting so it's probably not ideal.For me being a total beginner it's given me plenty of paper to practice with and find out if it's something I will continue with before spending lots more for better quality paper which appears to be quiet expensive in comparison to this pad on offer at £5.All in all I'm happy with the pad but you may be disappointed if you're experience with better quality paper.If you just want something to practice with as a beginner then for me it was a cheap way to try some water colour pencils and see if it's worth pursuing further.As I said I'm a total beginner and have never really drawn or painted anything but I will include my first attempt so you can see what a beginner and some cheap pencils produced. I will in future tape my paper down to try and keep it flatter though I believe you can also spray the back of the paper and weight it down to flatten it again.All in all I feel it's ok to practice with rather than wasting lots of more expensive paper when I haven't really a clue what I'm doing.
