This poster putty has been a game changer! My daughter’s in the phase where she wants posters everywhere, but we didn’t want to go the tack-and-hole route like back in the day. This stuff works amazingly well. We found it sticks best when we stretch it out and use it around the edges of the poster—not just the four corners—and we also add a little in the middle for extra hold. It’s super easy to remove and doesn’t leave any marks on the wall. You’d never know something was even hanging there. Highly recommend!

I bought this adhesive putty to hang posters and lightweight decorations without damaging my walls. At first, it worked great—easy to tear, mold, and apply. It sticks well to smooth surfaces and comes off cleanly without leaving marks. However, after a few days, I noticed some things started falling, especially on slightly textured walls. It also tends to lose stickiness if reused too many times. That said, it’s still super useful for temporary setups or kids' projects. Just don’t rely on it for anything heavy. Overall, a decent product if used within its limits. I’d buy it again!

Works exactly as expected. It helps to hold it in your fist for a few minutes to warm it up before needing it so it's easier to work with. Doesn't leave much if any residue. May leach out a little oily looking stuff into paper, so putting a small strip of tape in the area you want to use this on will prevent possibly ruining the item. Doesn't work well in high temperature areas such as outside or non climate controlled areas.

Got it to have up pictures in dorm and they worked amazing. Didn’t have anything fall off. They did however leave just a little bit of residue after they were removed. It wasn’t anything damaging or major, you could just tell that something had been there.

I waited until I used it for a while before I reviewed because I wanted to see how it held up to longer term usage and not just how it was immediately. I've been trying it out for several months now.I will definitely buy this brand again and highly recommend it.I've been using this putty for 2 main things: hanging some things on my wall that aren't super heavy, and the main reason I use it is to keep pieces in place in my dollhouse.Very good staying power, really holds things in place for as long as I want them there. Not difficult to remove pieces with it on either. I've been able to reuse the putty over and over again as well. Do use caution with painted pieces, tho... This putty took the paint right off one of my clay pieces, but it wasn't sealed either, so I kept that in mind.I cannot imagine trying to display all these tiny miniatures without something to hold it in place. Between this and museum wax it's been wonderful at assisting me in keeping my displays from falling apart. I will always have some of this stuff around! I've discovered that sometimes one product works better than the other in different circumstances, depending on what the piece is made of and what I'm trying to achieve and how much strength for holding it in place I need. Glue and adhesive tape is not always appropriate to what you're trying to hold down, and you don't always need things to be so permanent. Seriously as long as I'm working with miniatures I will not be without either one, this high quality putty and museum wax.

I’ve used this product many times before and had great results. It holds up my posters very well at least. However, I moved last October and used these on a wall different from what I had in my old room.My posters hold up, however, when I go to remove them, not only is it hard to get it all off, but it leaves behind a stain. I don’t know if it’s because of the type of wall it’s on or if the putty somehow erases the paint, but I’ll need to be more careful.
