Unfortunately I don't have a photo of my cake because it was cut in to before I remembered to take one, so the collar had been removed. These acetate sheets are amazing for so many things. My cake was an unbaked blackberry cheesecake with several layers of variegated shades of purple from dark to light. Owing to it's nature it needed a collar to hold everything in place whilst being refrigerated and then until it was cut. I have also previously used these for making chocolate collars for cakes and because they are easy to wrap around the cake, they allow time to maneuver in to place before the chocolate sets. Simply melt and temper the chocolate and coat the acetate completely. Before it sets, wrap around the cake and leave to set. Carefully unwrap the acetate leaving behind a smooth and shiny coating.
