Q: do yoy still have a 5 pin connector ?

The connector on mine is 2 pin. One round the other is more of a slot.

Q: Should the battery green light be solid green or blink?

My working ones now all have a steady green LED. When all of my previous power supplies have failed, there was no lit LED. I can un-plug the chair and the light is still green. I don't know what condition causes blink. If I were to guess, it might be a stuck / stalled / burned out motor, which would cause too much power demand from the supply. Is the mechanism in a bind or frozen up? If you have more than one chair and more than one power supply, try swapping power supplies and see if the condition repeats with a different power supply.

Q: will the battery backup work on the lift motor and the recline motor?

Tested my recliner with battery backup only, did not work with lift and recline motor. From research I found the battery backup is intended to allow return of a reclined chair to a seated position one time during a power outage.

Q: My current supply is 2a on the input & 2a on the output. this one is 1.5a in & 1.8a out. will that be a problem? replacing sp2-b (power recliner)

As long as the connecting plugs are compatible you should be ok.
