It's chunky and is kinda wet, I keep it in a salt cellar with a lid. I can reach in and grab some salt and crush it on my food. It works well in a mortar and pestle. It's a nice texture when I eat it I like a crunchy salt. It's got a grey color to it.

Great taste and a great healthy option!

I was expecting a coarser salt that would have to be dispensed via a grinder or mill, but I wasn't expecting it to be so damp. I could literally make snowballs from this stuff, it's just barely not dripping. So far, it's going through the grinder that I purchased for it, but I just know there has to be a better salt to use that isn't so damp and costs less, yet has all the trace minerals of this one, plus being iodized. For now, it's workable although I would prefer a drier product. Also, 8 oz. really isn't as much as you would expect of something like this.

I love this so I just wish I hadn't ordered extra fine. It is a little moist, but I use it in my Ginger turmeric cayenne pepper shot in the morning

This salt taste so yummy and it is very nutritious salt. I love to put a small amount under my tongue first thing in the morning and add it to my lemon/ginger water.
