Best Movement Elements
Best one yet! We have four Marble Rush and this one is the most fun for my son. The train loading and unloading is mesmerizing and the elevator is slow but great as well.

Kid loves it. Dad is ready for a straight jacket.
I'm giving this a 5 star review. Simply because my kid really likes it. I, on the other hand, need therapy - after seeing what I've seen with this item.As info: I set this one up as a "Level 3." Because my kid is super smart. And apparently - with me buying this product - I am not.Pros:Very very easy to put togetherSturdyLots of playability time, and surely not a boring toyCons:You have got to be absolutely kidding me with the train. It simply does not - and cannot - make one lap around without going off the tracks. It's like a drunk passing a bar and stopping for a beer. It's inevitable.I followed the instructions, and to a T, about resetting the power button and then proper placement on the track. That doesn't work. I - we - have to manually reset the train. So with that being said...The train does indeed pick up the dropping marbles from the red tower chute. And flawlessly. Applause and thank you. But - that's if it even makes the turn to the red slide. Then the marbles do not fall in to and down the red slide, unless there are 3-4 of them in the swinging bucket. My kid already realizes this, and picks the marbles out of the bucket with her fingers, because she knows they won't fall out on their own.So when I'm not pulling out what's left of my hair when I fix the train, I'm playing the game of Operation, trying to get the stuck marbles out of the white squares. What? You say....So the white foundational pieces, while solid and right on with the snapping together while building, contain squares, which have open holes in the middle, which are the exact same flipping size to hold and trap a marble - the same marble that came off the track, slide, chute, elevator, etc. And oh yes - those same marbles will for sure come off and on to the squares. Problem is - you'll need to keep closeby an ink pen, tweezers, needle, whatever - because you sure as sin can't pull the marble out with your fingers. Curse you design team at V-Tech.And the elevator - when placed vertically - sounds like a dying duck. And this after putting in good quality fresh batteries. It sounds likes it's grinding gears and has little power. So I spend more time chaperoning and performing quality control duties to clean up the aforementioned design flaw miscues than I do enjoying the movement and motion. But my kid is loving it - and that's all that matters. I don't want to kill anyone's livelihood with a Karen review. Merry Christmas.

I recommend this toy
It's a great toy. My son liked it very much. It works great, but it needs a perfectly flat floor. I even play by myself a lot, not just with my son.

Favorite set by far
This marble run is what we’ve been waiting for! The elevator is where it’s at!! There is finally a way to make a marble run that is automated once you drop the marbles in. It works so well! The train is also a creative feature! It stays on the track surprisingly well as long as it placed properly on the track. The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is the train started out working flawlessly. It would make around 3-5 rounds before going into what I’m calling “sleep mode.” Now, after only one day, it sometimes stops before making a quarter of the circle and we have to hit the button to start it back up multiple times to complete it. I’m not sure why this happened, but I’m really bummed, because it is such an awesome feature. I would be happy to receive any feedback from the seller. I’m still extremely happy with the marble run, but it would be perfect, if I could figure out the train issue.

We love it
After reading some reviews about the train malfunctioning I must admit that I almost returned it, but glad I didn't. This set is absolutely amazing and my 3 year old and 5 year old love it. It's fun to build it, sort of like Lego style, and everything works as expected. The train is an awesome extra and kids' favorite part of it. IT does stop sometimes, but it's so easy to slide the button to restart it that even a 2 year old could handle it just fine. Don't trust negative reviews, just get it!

Great fun
This was a present for my grandson’s seventh birthday. He loved putting it together and the finished result. This one is his third VTec marble run, he has had hours of fun with them.

Very flimsy elevator
Most V-tech toys are very high quality, however, this set was disappointing. The main piece (the elevator conveyor) is made with such flimsy rubber that it will not pick up or support the weight of the marbles. We have tried multiple times, but it does not work. It is also very hard to attach without falling over. For the price, I would have have liked more pieces that actually work.
