This is nicely made and holds a decent amount of water.Comes with a filter and I must admit I was surprised how quickly it filtered through.At £15 I'm quite happy, I also purchased 3 additional filters for £7, these are not brita filters but have a 4.6 rating on here so you can find them if you look.As per usual the brita maxtra filters are extortionate so I'll see how these generic ones do.I like the little led display (zoom pics) but I can't work out how this gadget can possibly know how much water I have filtered???I imagine it's actually just a timer and will go down to zero (replace filter time) in exactly a month??We shall see, I have descaled my kettle and hopefully this will prevent the bad scale I get here in Loughborough??Ps,,, if you buy this make sure you opt in for amazon packaging, I know it's not very "green" but it will give you that added damage protection whilst in transit.Recommend from me.Pps,,The lid is a very tight and precise fit, if it's not in the exact position you will know because the flap that covers the refill hole won't open and close properly (it will jam), please don't force the flap as you might break it.If this happens, just remove the lid and realign it, fortunately you will only have to take it off every month or so to replace your filter and obviously it will get easier once it's "worn in".This is my only gripe.Update 30th April,I can confirm the L E D 4 bar filter change device in the lid is just a timer. After exactly 7 day's 1 of the 4 bars has disappeared supposedly signifying I have used 25 litres out of the 100 litres before filter change is required.I did wonder whether it was a tilt device, but it's just a gimmick. I'm a single person, so a family of 5 are going to use a lot more than me.I think the best way to judge a filter change is when the flow through the filter slows down to a drip, this will obviously signify that the filter is getting clogged and needs changing.Don't you just love these sales gimmicks? Hehe

Good filter, i like the flap that lifts up to fill it one handed. Such a nice design. I have two - one for the bedside and one for downstairs. Helps me stay hydrated as I dont have to keep getting up to fill my glass - i just keep the large jug next to me

Good decision to buy a filter jar, reduce the plastic consumption and only need to change the filter once a month. The filters are not that cheap, that's why 4 starts. Tea, coffee and for cooking as well, everything tastes different and as well helps my appliances.

Didn’t realise how bad my water tasted until I started using this. Now it’s like... smooth? Can water be smooth? Anyway, this jug’s a game changer big enough so I’m not constantly refilling it every 2 minutes - fits in the fridge door (just about) and dead easy to use - filters last 4 weeks too - even my tea tastes posher now - genuinely feels like I’m drinking spa water but from my dodgy old tap - wouldn’t go back.

Our tapwater on the farm is absolutely terrible and reeks of bleach, this is such a game changer!I'm very picky with water brands and their flavours but I have to say, no more bottled water for us. The water is now delicious, zero smell of bleach. Easy to fill, easy to use. Way better product then i expected it to be.
