Experience the growth of your true manhood
Really helped me alot. I do more audio then reading but I wanted this version just for my person collection. It's a beautiful read or audio for any man. Find out how to be Stoic and women will respect you. Sometimes we need a wake up call. Especially us married men. YouTube and this book are great for any man in depression or mental distress due to divorce or just life issues. Don't you doubt it either.

Great Book, Beautiful Aesthetic
Beautiful Book. Fun to read and look at. It’s surreal to get into the mind of a man who was once one of the most powerful man in the world. The aesthetic of the book adds to the allure. Definitely a delicate book.

as represented but had both Latin- which I could read or translate and Greek which I could not and the notes in the back did not seem to be related to the footnotes and they were in Greek

Great hardcover copy.
This made for a great gift. Arrived quickly and was an excellent condition. Although the receiver already had this book, he did not have this hardcover edition. It definitely looks great in person.

1 STAR qualityIf your looking to read Meditations you definitely should it’s amazing and has stood through time just not with this copy. It’s the cheapest made book I’ve ever had.You see right through the pages of the words on the other side because of how thin the paper is.After just a couple times of picking it up to read the pages start to unbindThen you got gold dust on whatever it touches from the coverIt’s a great read just buy it from someone else

Be Cautious.
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius is admired for its calm wisdom, focus on self-discipline, and reflections on virtue, suffering, and mortality. As a Christian, I can acknowledge that some of these reflections resemble the tone of Proverbs, but readers must understand: this is not a spiritually safe or complete book. Marcus Aurelius was a Stoic philosopher and Roman emperor, not a follower of Christ. His writings offer noble-sounding life advice, but leave God completely out. There is no mention of grace, repentance, forgiveness, or eternal hope, only personal control, endurance, and inner calm. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12. This kind of self-powered philosophy can quietly promote pride, stoic detachment from emotion, and the illusion that we can save ourselves by being rational or “good enough.” It offers order—but not redemption. If you're grounded in the Bible, you may appreciate some of the discipline it teaches, but don’t be deceived into thinking it's spiritually enlightening. It’s wisdom without the cross.
