I bought the TOSY Flying Ring for my 11-year-old daughter, and it was an instant favorite. The moment she opened the box, her eyes lit up almost as brightly as the ring itself! She’s been playing with it nonstop ever since—day and night (literally, thanks to the super bright LEDs).The colors are gorgeous—really vibrant and eye-catching. We opted for the version with 16 million RGB LEDs (yes, it’s a thing), and it's seriously impressive how cool it looks flying through the air, especially at dusk. It’s like a flying rainbow UFO zooming across the yard.What I appreciate as a parent:It's lightweight and easy for her to throw and catch.The "Lost Mode" is genius—no more disappearing into the bushes at night!The battery life has held up well, and it charges quickly.It's gotten her outside, off screens, and playing actively, which is a huge win in my book. Plus, it’s something the whole family has had fun with. We even brought it to a BBQ and every kid there wanted a turn!If you’re looking for a unique, exciting, and surprisingly durable gift for a tween (or anyone who loves fun outdoor gadgets), this one is a winner. It's a little costly, but a really neat buy. With the hollow middle, it makes it very easy for our 5yo to catch. The sides are coated with a rubber like material so if it hits your car, it doesn't cause any marks. The light up feature is really neat as well.

Updated review of Tosy: After the company saw my review which I wrote months after I purchased the item and even though I didn't even contact them, they reimbursed me with no questions asked other than to apologize, hint that it may have been a defective unit, and they offering to send me another for free. I decided to take them up on it and they sent me two, which was quite surprising! I now have two new ones, one blue and one green (on top of my previously purchased blue one which I had purchased before and the kids had stopped using). Upon using the new green and blue, I quickly noticed that the green is much brighter and thus easier to see than the blue. The first day of using the two, they worked fine. That was a week ago. Yesterday, my son and I tried out both of them and the lights were not always consistent, but better than the first one I had purchased way back. My son mentioned that the sensitivity of the Tosy could be improved so that it always lights and one other thing is that it does not always fly straight. Interestingly, it flies more straight when thrown upside down. Besides that, he said he would give it a 4 or 5 star rating. So, as the toy could use a little tuning, I gave it 4, but as for the company, I GIVE IT A FIVE! Excellent customer service! Great company! Here is my previous review and star rating: 2 stars: Flies fine, but the lights stopped working well or consistently during the first or second use.

Oh man this so so bright and fun, water oil we have been playing in the rain with it at nighttime the kids love it!! Its durable to ok cuz the mail people shoved it in our mail box like freaking bent it.oh I was mad about it but it still works no issues and I was able to flatten it back out I just put it under a few books for a day or so. But man it gets thrown all over hits the ground d every thing. Lands in puddles. I mean goodness its very water proof and highly durable!!! If it ever breaks ill definitely buy this again!! Ooo or get it as a gift for sure!!! So cool!

This is my second time purchasing one of these. We have so much fun with them especially in the summer time. However this is the second time I’ve purchased one of these because they stop working. $20 for a flimsy piece of plastic that continues to fail, isn’t worth it. It did light up for about a month both times. It says it’s waterproof and floatable so it shouldn’t fail due to water. I have changed batteries and checked the batteries, did not fix it. This is a a fun product if you don’t mind purchasing it all the time. But I’ll just buy a regular frisbee for $1 at the dollar store.

This product is so fun! The light up feature is great and makes it even better to play in the dusk hours. It is durable and the battery has lasted for months now with frequent uses and is still holding up! Great way to get outside and have some fun!

The family has fun with it but the more power you put behind it the fast it turns left and dives to the ground. If you throw it lightly, especially with a forehand flick, you can get a semi-decent flight out of it. The lights are decent but it does not stay lit - I assume that is to prolong battery life. It is not meant for far throwing though. Even the few flashes it gets when it hits the ground, you get a few light blinks in the dark and then it shuts off. So keep an eye on it if you do get some distance on it and don't go looking for it right away. It's fun and easy to use. We got the multicolored and it is fun having it randomly do different colors in the dark. Not sure how long they last for but I have read a few reviews of people saying once it goes dead, it's dead, even when you replace the battery. I will eventually come to that bridge. Hopefully it works with a battery replacement. If that is the case the 3 stars go down to a 2 start but hey... 3 stars for now.
