Some complaints on these, don't understand why? Well made, looks good and fit well in the AMP and speakers. I used 12 ga. wire, no issues. TIP - Strip the wire, measure it to fit to the bottom of the connector w/some plastic insulation left on top to prevent shorts. Flatten the wire before inserting and tightening the 2 set screws. Make sure it's straight & level when plugged in the very 1st time, it's tight. Very pleased here, great price and product.

I dont know the difference between banana plugs, but to me it seems no different than an hdmi cable. they all do what they are supposed to so no need to pay a premium for them! I could be wrong so someone let me know. My only complaint is I should've purchased a bigger pack of them.

These look Great! You should know that the 2 set screws (M4-.7x4.75) are long enough to clamp down on small wires very well, but they will not work well for larger wires. The set screw will be left hanging out and the colored Aluminum cover will not fit over the outside. You should also know that the Aluminum cover is conductive to the plug terminal and will short out if it touches ground.
