Comfortable and True to Size
I wear 11 men's US, size 44 Euro and these are true to size. They are also my single greatest purchase of 2025 so far. My feet have been killing me lately so I have done a lot of research and measuring and realized 40 years too late I need an extra wide shoe and that my arches are pretty flat. I have been miserable in shoes my whole life and as soon as these arrived I put them on and I cannot believe the immediate relief. They are light, breathe very well, the toe box is very accommodating but not awkward, the outsole is a great combination of thin, cushiony, grippy, not too stiff not too soft, and the insole is surprisingly nice underfoot as well. The soles are thin enough you can fold the shoes, perhaps for efficiency packing, and then they just spring back. I have been wearing these since they arrived and have no complaints. As far as the barefoot design goes, I guess it works naturally for me but I'm not someone who goes out of their way to find barefoot shoes. I had originally heard a lot about Lem's and was interested in those but they were too expensive. Someone then suggested Whitin and I figured for $30 I might as well try them. Very very happy.Materials: they feel like shoes made of shoe material. They are very flexible and bendy so the uppers are more synthetic fabric than plastic panels, they are breathable and I like that the sole conforms to the shape of the shoe instead of just being glued to the bottom of the shoe. They feel very good when walking, sitting, or standing. Absolutely great shoe so far.

Teenage Son Fell In Love With These Shoes! Extremely Comfortable & Useful For Active Lifestyle
My teenage son likes barefoot shoes for his wide feet with high arches. He needed an extra pair for the summer for hiking and activities. These shoes were meant to be his extra side pair of shoes, but he found them so incredibly comfortable they are now his favorite pair he wears for everything!! The shoes fit true to size, are flexible, light weight, durable, have great tread, and are extremely comfy. Great value for the price for sure! The color is lovely too and true to the pics online. The only thing to note is that the shoe laces are a tiny bit long, so we swapped them out for a slightly shorter pair, but with the great price of the shoes buying laces was no big deal at all. I probably should get him another pair in a different color!

Lightweight and Comfortable
I've been using these for about a year now. Overall they are great for packing light and compacting. I was able to fold them up almost in half and stuff them in a bag for a backpacking trip. Being so lightweight they were easy to carry along as an extra pair. Only downside is the sole being a bit thin so you do feel a lot of big rocks under your feet. But to be expected with such a lightweight shoe.

Fantastic shoe for the money at ~$40
I bought them originally as a hiking/trail running shoe, but I like them so much I went ahead and ordered another pair in all-black to use as my daily. Not as hardcore as my previous "barefoot/minimalist" shoes, there's a bit of give in the insole to provide just a touch of cushioning which mainly serves so you don't have to feel the tread under your foot with every step while retaining the wide toe box, zero drop, and low stack height I was looking for.Only shortcoming so far is the rubber used for the tread is not as soft/gummy as more expensive shoes so they don't perform as well on wet rocks, but for 1/3-1/4 of the price of a namebrand outsole its a worthy trade off and not noticeable in the dry.Haven't put enough trail miles on them to speak to their ultimate longevity, but I've already gotten my money's worth out of them and I'm not seeing any issue spots that would indicate they're going to break before I wear the tread out.

So far a great value
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Decided to give these a try because the big name brands are now way too expensive. I have used them a few times trail running and am very pleased with them. As they are more minimalist than what I was using I have to be more careful with where I step, but I knew that would be the case. Also, since I have had plantar faciitis problems in the past I did replace the insole with one that provides more support.

Might be worth a second try
There were a couple of things I liked and disliked about this shoe. I’m going to start with my likes. First I needed a shoe that was flat and stable to use for leg workouts and this definitely did the trick. Very stable shoe and comfortable. It is also a wide shoe so my foot felt good during my workouts. Now the dislikes…the shoes run big. I normally wear a 1/2 size smaller than what I bought and typically don’t have a problem. But in this case it was way too big. The second issue I had was the inside liner came apart in the shoe after a couple of weeks. With that and the over size it was like top liner keeps getting pulled down making the she almost not wearable.

Very Satisfied. Great traction.
I've come back to offer a one month review. After additional wear using as my primary gym shoes and after a using these for one hiking trail on Multnomah-Wahkeena Falls loop (it was not my intention but my intended hiking shoes got wet after going through a waterfall), I've been please with its durability. These have become my go to gym shoe.I’ve had that’s shoes for a week and interestingly they are more comfortable than my Nike Metcons (toebox is too narrow) or the Xero Prio that I just return (because I liked these more). I have been using these shoes for weightlifting and cross training and they have performed well this far. The sole traction is better than I was expecting. One downside is that my feet have gotten more warm than my other shoes. Overall I am very satisfied given the price point.

I'm a shoe snob. Highly recommend these
I have worn Merrill's for the past @decade. I tried these, and these are now my favorite shoes. I have wide feet, and finding quality comfortable shoes is problematic enough that price is not an issue. At half (or less) the price of high end name brand shoes, these are so comfortable. I was surprised. I am buying in different colors before they run out. Excellent, highly recommend. I use these for daily activities, and twice a week for 4 mile run. Use the size chart and order these before they run out.
