We needed a temporary camera we could use to monitor a baby and pets when we are out of the room, plugged into a battery pack, and this camera and app exceeded our expectations. The setup was nearly instant, and the app is extremely easy to use and functional, on two devices. We were not expecting the noise and motion detection alerts so that was a welcome surprise. The camera also looks nice physically, and the picture quality is outstanding. I like that we can select the quality of the video stream as we don't need full resolution to monitor a pet. I bought this because my internet modem is no longer dual band, so my old cameras no longer could connect to the internet. I needed something that could connect to the 5ghz wifi, and this does just that.Pros:1. It's extremely easy and fast to set up;2. Compact, swivels in a circular motion in addition to horizontally/vertically so you can get more angles;3. The picture quality is fantastic, good audio;4. Easy to use app.Cons/suggestions:1. After being on for a few hours, it is super hot to the touch (I wonder if it is a fire hazard?);2. I can't adjust the angle of the camera exactly how I want it in certain areas because it isn't on a ball joint;3. I wish the arm that extends the camera outwards was longer so you can get more height in the standing position;4. The wire could be longer or come with an option for different length wires;5. I wish there was an option for noncontinuous recording where it only records when there is motion detected;6. A heavier base would make it more stable when placed in certain positions;7. It would be perfect if the bottom of the base was magnetic so you don't have to screw holes into a wall.Overall, I'm satisfied. Concerned about the devices being physically hot to the touch, though.

They used to make a decent camera, and used to have decent customer service. But now the last few cameras I have gotten from them, both inform & outdoor models all have problems, and they don’t even want to support it.Out of 9 new cameras I got in the last 2 months, 3 of them have bad night vision, suddenly got cloudy & white spots, and 2 of them like 75% of the time don’t motion detect for large events, like someone walking up from 20 feet away, then standing directly in front of the camera, only 2-3 feet away, shows no motion. This happens continuously. And none of them ever get the ai event right, a cat can walk by, and it says personal appeared. A person can walk by, and it says vehicle or pet. A car drives by, and it says person or package. They’re just getting worse & worse. I had 3 Blurams cameras from years ago, and I decided they’ve been doing so well, I’d replace my entire ring system with them. What a mistake.And now I see why Blurams camera prices keep getting lower & lower, because they know the quality is failing.

It took me just a few minutes to have the camera up and running in the perfect spot for my needs.I appreciate the choice between Micro SD card and Cloud storage. Even without a subscription, the camera saves events (up to 12 seconds) from the last 24 hours. The fact that the cloud storage meets the highest security standards, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, gives me confidence in the safety of my data.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the blurams indoor security camera.
