Wasn't sure if I ordered the right cable, there are many different types, but this fitted perfectly. Good strong steel and easy to fit.

Does the job
About 6 weeks ago the local garage door man said that he would do the job when he was in my area, would cost £35-50. Bought these wires, did the job myself £6 one hours labour and the garage door man still hasn't showed up! Only thing is the instructions are not too clear and the final attachment requires a fair grip of the spring and a bit of strength in your arms.

Ideal replacement cable for garage door with concrete counter weights
Just as described and arrived promptly, despite Christmas fast approaching. Used the cable to replace one that uses concrete counter weights to hold open the door. Just the right length and the wire loops just big enough to fit over the cones. Just the job and saves buying a new door!
