Chess - a mental game, decided in thought-planning-recognition & with the satisfaction of Winning!
Husband is 81 years & he taught me chess when first married. Though he still wins the majority of the games, I love that it builds his self esteem & confidence, while for me, it’s a way of recognizing, measuring (though not scientific), a level of cognition…Since purchasing board game, it is very lightweight & folds easily & the playing pieces are easily placed back in its box for portability.Only issue, with regards to our vision, is that it’s difficult to quickly & easily recognize some of the noble players in the first row.

Cute wizard trunk of games, my son is a harry potter fan and loves these types of board games. Decent quality and a nice starter set

I bought this for my Christmas party game night. The grandkids love HP and the adults didn’t mind playing. The grands love to send me down the slide.

Learning with my Son
I absolutely love this begginer set. Comes with a 2 sided board that has pictures to show how to set up board and a side without for when you become more advanced at playing and setting up. Also came with cards that introduces each piece and there plays with symbols in the left hand corner to match there standings on the beginner side of the board. Great details on each player, Also has their little pegs that attach to the pieces so you dont have to constantly look at the cards to remind yourself where they can be moved across the board. All for only 20$ cause until I know we wanna stick to it i didnt wanna put alot of money into it.

Could have been awesome. Checkers are super weightless and small. One bump and they fly. Also, the colors or red and green are jarring against the rest of the set. Should have had bags for each set of pieces-not just chess pieces, which are very nice. Majorly, no respectable backgammon set has only one set of dice. Should have had two sets that matched the color of the checkers. These small details could have elevated it from a kids set into a truly cool adult level gaming set.
