The color options and coverage made small scratches from our puppies teeth dissappear from our furnature. You can only notice the small scratches if you get really close (within a foot I'd say, and that's only the divots from the scatches after using the pens to do a cover up.Very happy with this product. Will be using it in other areas of the home like worn cabinets and other small spots around the house.

The second I busted this package open, I searched my house for wood scratches. It was kinda fun to make a color key and figure out which combo of wax and marker to use. A slightly lightly wax under a darker marker color is what gives the look of darker stain over bare wood.I don't recommend starting with something precious or priceless. Start with the vintage blah wood furniture you're trying to sell anyway, and get good at it before addressing your heirlooms.There's a bit of a learning curve, but for a particular person like me, it was satisfying to figure it out.Best result: When there was an actual groove or hole that I filled in with wax and then blended marker on the top. The wood for this one was deep and dark. I filled the grooves with the wax crayon, smoothed it flat with the back of my fingernail (do not do this is you have a manicure), and then marker stained over it. It looks great even on close examination.Middle result: when there was dings and dents that still had their varnish intact. I didn't use the wax crayon because it doesn't stick too well to varnished wood. I ran the marker over the edges and wiped away the smears before they dried (it's immediate, don't wait). It was pretty good! They were still dents upon closer examination, but if you don't see the chage in color, you don't look closely in the first place. This piece of furniture was a blonde wood.Lackluster result: When varnish had flaked off of long strips of flat wood, with no dents, exposing bare sections. There wasn't enough groove to apply crayon because the wax isn't soft enough to just rub over a larger surface; it has to be shoved in a hole with edges. So ultimately I was brushing the marker tip over bare wood in the direction and shapes of the grain, to try to match the varnish color. It looked 'passing' when I looked at it straight on with no light glare. But when viewed from the side, the marker looked distinctly purple compared to the warmth of the varnish next to it (despite the browns matching). Not to mention the shiny vs dull contrast, making some parts look flat. This wood had been gel stained to a warm medium brown. So this is one area where I would have considered it a failure (and if it was a nice piece of furniture, I'd possibly consider it ruined). That said! Next time I will be trying a much lighter marker first that matches the correct warmth desired, then very lightly going over that with a darker marker that is one shade lighter than the correct brown. Or, try the right color gel stain first over the entire piece, then come back and get smaller fresh dings over time.Overall, it got the job done! I will be even better at it next time.

I got this for a repair I made to some wood last week, I used wood filler but didn't have anything to cover the filler, so I used the markers here. I blended a couple colors in and the repair is practically invisible now, I did a great job thanks to this kit by Seisso. I used some of the wax on some wooden floor dings, it really makes a big difference, the colored wax fills them in and they don't catch the light so much now. Comes with instructions, people have also made online videos on using these type of repair kits to their full potential, they can do a lot.

This Repair Kit is complete with wood markers and fillers in 18 colors each. My first use of this product was to repair a wood cabinet surface that was damaged by over-watering a potted plant years ago. I used the oak colored wood marker and was very pleased with the result!
