Enter the Philips Sonicare 7100, the toothbrush that made me feel like James Bond if he gave up espionage to fight plaque.You get two of these bad boys, which is ideal for couples, roommates, or for those of us who like to pretend we have a more exciting social life than we actually do. I gave the second one to my girlfriend. She didn't ask for it, but now she can’t stop smiling. Probably because it’s vibrating her face into euphoria.The brush itself is so powerful, I swear it loosened a filling I didn’t even know I had. My teeth have never felt cleaner, and my dentist is now deeply suspicious I’ve been cheating on him with someone more... electric.It has multiple modes, like some sort of dental spaceship — "Clean" for the basics, "White+" for when you want to blind people at the bus stop, and "Gum Care" for those of us who’ve previously treated our gums like ungrateful houseplants.Battery lasts longer than most of my relationships, and the travel case makes me feel like I’m about to perform dental surgery on the go — or smuggle tech into a Bond villain’s lair.Highly recommend. Great while it lasts, but...Expect less than 1 year battery life from any Philips Sonicare product. (I've tried several).No warning that it's failing - just stops working.Amazon will replace - and the replacement will fail after 12 months as well - just outside of your warranty period.Then you get to spend another £100+ on another Philips Sonicare product that will fail in 12 months.
